EKG TechnicianThe EKG course is perfect for the studentlooking to enter the healthcare field as wellas the healthcare professional looking toacquire additional skills. Classroom andpractical instruction will prepare studentsto obtain electrocardiograms in varioushealthcare settings. Instruction includespatient preparation, use and maintenanceof the electrocardiograph and methodsfor obtaining an electrocardiogram.Students will also learn how to recognizeabnormalities on the electrocardiogram.Dialysis TechnicianHours: 120 (80 Classroom & 40 Externship)Tuition: 2,700Mental Health TechnicianMental Health Technicians work withpeople who are mentally ill, recoveringfrom drug or alcohol addiction, havemental disorders or are in crisis of othersorts.
