4.TURNING PAGER ON Power off mode Press the function button for 2 seconds or longerwhile pager is in the Off mode.Time and date will appear on the bottom center ofthe screen.Upon inserting a battery, pager will vibrate andbeep briefly as it enters the normal reception mode. Stand by screen If unread new messages are, new icon and thenumber of unread messages are displayed on thescreen.And if all messages are read, the number ofmessages in memory is displayed.TURNING PAGER ON7

5.TURNING PAGER OFFPress and hold the Function button for 2 seconds toenter the Function mode.Press the Function button repeatedly until "POWEROFF?" is displayed on the screen.Press Lamp button for more than 2 seconds to enterPager Off mode.8TURNING PAGER OFF

6.RECEIVING AND READINGMESSAGESWhen a message is received, the selected Alert willbe activated.Press the Read button to stop the Alert and to readmessages.The following information will be displayed in theorder of the newest to the oldest message:Message number, time stamp and message.Reading Messages with 13 Characters or MoreMessages with 13 or more characters will display" " at the top right corner of the screen.Press the Read button to read the rest of the message.RECEIVING AND READING MESSAGES9

7.DUPLICATE MESSAGESDuplicate Message Indicator will be displayedon the screen when the pager receives a messagethat is identical to a message in memory.8.LOW BATTERY INDICATORWhen the battery capacity falls below the operationallevel, the Low Battery icon will be displayed and thevoltage alarm tone will be activated.10DUPLICATE MESSAGES / LOW BATTERY INDICATOR

9.LOCKING AND UNLOCKING MESSAGESA maximum of 15 messages can be locked.Select a message to be locked and press the Functionbutton.When "LOCK?" is displayed, press the Lamp button tolock the message. The Lock icon will be displayed, andthe message will be locked.To unlock messages, select the message to be unlockedand then press the Function button to display "UNLOCK?"on the screen.Press the Lamp button.Locked messages will remain in memory even during lowbattery power, and while the battery is being changed.LOCKING AND UNLOCKING MESSAGES11

10.MEMORYPager has the memory capacity to store 30 numeric messages,with a maximum of 20 characters per message.12MEMORY

11.DELETING INDIVIDUAL MESSAGESTo Delete Individual Messages:After reading messages, enter into Function mode bypressing the Function button repeatedly until "CLEAR?" isdisplayed on the screen.Press Lamp button.Message is deleted and another message is displayed.To Delete a Locked Message:It is necessary to convert the locked message intounlocked condition before the message can be deleted.DELETING INDIVIDUAL MESSAGES13

12.DELETING ALL MESSAGESDeletion of All Messages:Press and hold the Function button for 2 seconds toenter the Function mode.To display "Clear All?"sign, press Function Buttonrepeatedly.On "Clear All?"sign, press Lamp button to deleteall message except locked messages and Unreadmessage.14DELETING ALL MESSAGES

13.CHANGING ALERT STATUSPress and hold the Function button for 2 secondsto enter the Function mode.Press the Function button repeatedly until"ALERT?" is displayed on the screen.Press the Lamp button repeatedly until desiredAlert is selected.Press the Function button to complete theprocess.CHANGING ALERT STATUS15

14.ALARMPress and hold the Function button for 2 seconds to enterthe Function mode.Press the Function button repeatedly until "ALARM?" isdisplayed on the screen.Press Lamp button on "ALARM?" indicator to enter intoAlarm-setting mode.To choose and set desired condition, press Lamp button totoggle (Ex. YESNO).To move to each field (hour, minute, am/pm), press theRead button.Press Function button to complete the process.16ALARM

15.TIME AND DATEPress and hold the Function button for 2 seconds toenter the Function mode.Press the Function button repeatedly until "TIME?"indicator is displayed on the screen and press Lampbutton.Time/Date setting process is exactly the same as Alarmsetting process.Press the Lamp button to change the month, then pressthe Read button to move to the next field.Press the Function button to complete the process.TIME AND DATE17

16.AUTOMATIC ON/OFFPress and hold the Function button for 2 seconds toenter the Function mode.Press the Function button repeatedly until "AUTOMATICON-OFF?" is displayed on the screen.Press the Lamp button on "AUTOMATIC ON-OFF?"indicator to enter into Automatic On-Off mode.Automatic On-Off time setting process is the same as theAlarm setting process.Press the Function button to complete the process.18AUTOMATIC ON/OFF

17.LIGHTPress the Lamp button to turn the light on.Press the Lamp button again to turn the light off.18.BATTERY INFORMATIONThe pager is designed to operate with a "AAA" size alkaline battery.Note: Do NOT use carbon zinc batteries.LIGHT / BATTERY INFORMATION19

19.CANNED MESSAGEThepager comes with 12 pre-programmed messages,which will be displayed on the LCD when the correspondingcode is entered.To send a canned message:1. Dial the pager number on a telephone andwait for a beeping sound.2. Enter the number from 1 to 12.3. Upon reception of a canned message, a designated melodywill be activated unless Vibrate or Silence is selected.20CANNED MESSAGE
