Medical Student RotationThis is a one-month, full-time rotation working in the show’s offices in Manhattan. Medicalstudent rotators work under the direction of the show’s medical director with the medicalresearch team to conduct research for shows, develop messaging for scripts, and generateideas for shows and other media platforms. Rotators are a valuable part of the MedicalUnit and get to see and take part in all aspects of the show’s production. This is a uniqueexperience and allows students to learn about how the media works, how to communicateto a lay audience about important health topics, and how to conduct research and evaluateevidence.Medical student rotators must receive credit for the rotation at their institution, as this is anon-paid internship. Rotators are responsible for finding accommodations if they do not livein New York City. Led byPaul Rudy, DMA, the session, “Listen!
