About The AuthorBobby Deason has been preaching and teaching the Good Newsof Jesus Christ for 50 years. He has served the Body of Christ as adeacon, preacher, elder, missionary, counselor, teacher and writer.Having served three local congregations as a preacher, teacher,educator in Texas and California, he has been involved ininternational ministry from 1992-2018. Countries where he haspreached and taught are India, Thailand, New Zealand, Russia,Greece, Slovakia, Singapore, Cambodia, China and others.He taught in the Madras, India School of Preaching as a guestteacher (1969-70). He help start the Lagos School of Preaching,Nigeria (1973-75}. He is a guest teacher at South Pacific BibleCollege in Tauranga, New Zealand 1976, 2009-2018, SunsetInternational Bible Institute in Singapore 2012-18, CambodiaBible Institute in Phnom Penh, Cambodia (2012-13) AthensInternational Bible Institute, Athens Greece (2010-11).Bobby served in the United States Army for three years, 2 1/2years in Germany 1957-69. Bobby and Joanne grew up inHouston, Texas and were married in 1959. Bobby was selfemployed used car dealer in Houston, Texas 1959-1966.He graduated from Sunset School of Preaching 1969 (Now SunsetInternational Bible Institute in Lubbock, Texas). Returned for 6month missions study 1972 before moving to Lagos Nigeria withhis family.Bobby is married to Joanne Callihan Deason. They have threechildren, and six grandchildren. Bobby was 81, August 24, 2018and is continuing to spread the good news of Jesus everywhere Hegoes.
