The UMass Lowell Navitas GSSP classesare a lot smaller than the usual classesand I benefited from that. The professorwas able to focus more on each studentand understand our English limitations.Studying in the Navitas GSSP class mademe feel more comfortable compared tostudying in a class full of non-NavitasGSSP students (which I had experiencedin my first semester) because there wasno pressure of knowing that I wasprobably the only person who can’tinteract that well in English.MONIKA IRENE, IndonesiaUndergraduate UMass Lowell Navitas GSSP:Biological SciencesI wanted a more extensive degreeprogram that would cover the specificfields I wanted to master. One particularcourse I was really looking into wasCancer Biology, which was one of theelective courses offered here at UMassLowell. That, and the opportunity tostudy for my master’s degree at aresearch university, really made it easyfor me to choose further study here inthe U.S.CHARLES P.
