New students-Complete the admissions process ve cadets only need to attend the presentation portion of new studentorientation. Please let the orientation staff know that you are a fire academy studentand you will not be required to attend the advising/course selection portion.Current Students-Proceed to Step 22. Complete the Registration Packet forms (Background Check, Health History, andPhysical Examination).3. Preliminary Visit Schedule an appointment with Chief David Griffin, David.K.Griffin@lonestar.edu,to submit your completed packet forms. Once Chief Griffin confirms that you meet the qualifications for the program, hewill provide you with a signed Registration Form.4. Registration There is no separate application process for the academy. Courses are filled on afirst come, first serve basis. Registration for the Spring 2020 Academy will beginon November 13th. Enrollment will be limited, so it’s important not to wait untilthe last minute to start the process. Fire Academy is day class only. To maintain academy enrollment, please be sure to submit payment byJanuary 4th, 2020 to avoid being dropped from the courses. If you are droppedfor nonpayment, there is no guarantee that you will be able to re-register.
