Practise ERCP procedures stepby step at different hands-on stations. Exchange experience and ask questions to renowned experts to improve your skills set andconfidence.Aims & Content:The workshop will offer a unique opportunity to review the GI clinical overview, disease states and we will learn how to managethe challenges as a nurse in our daily practices during the Hemostasis procedures. The view of our experienced guest nurse willshow us how the risk can be reduced and will share tip and tricks learned among the years. After the nurse lecture and the roundof questions from the audience, we will move to the hands-on session where we will be able to see and play with current and newhemostasis devices to warrantee the best performance from them. The participants will be able to train the following techniques under the supervision of experienced tutors: Station 1:Balloon dilation Station 2:Lithotripsy: standard and emergency cases Station 3:Cannulation, device exchange with long and short guidewire techniques, stent placement Marketplace:Display of ERCP devices with demonstration14:00 Presentation begins14:45 Hands on15:30 Session EndThis workshop is organised by OLYMPUS EUROPA SE & CO. How good is the cleaning performance of different active substances and how is it tested? What impact do different process chemicals have on treatment processes?Aims & Content:Hands-on training on bio simulators (pig models) under the supervision of highly experienced tutors.Participants will have the opportunity to perform endoscopic techniques on the following topics: OGD with Injection techniques, Ligation, Clipping, APC Colonoscopy with Polypectomy, EMR and APC ERCP with stone extraction and stentingPresentations: Different active substances in the cleaning and disinfection of flexible endoscopesMarkus Kamer, GermanyESGE Learning Area14:00 - 15:30As participation will be limited, registration will be treated on a first-come-first-served basis.Tickets will be available onsite only – at the entrance of the ESGE Learning Area. This workshop is organised by ESGENAPart 2: Process improvements in endoscope reprocessing: Simpler - safer - faster - more cost-effectiveAutomated reprocessing with WD (washer disinfectors) has become standard practice. This part of the workshop works out whathas to be taken into account to make reprocessing procedures more hygienic – simpler, faster and cheaper. There are numerous innovations and process optimisations available: Simpler: There are numerous approaches which make the process simple, e.g. documentation. Safer: Technical solutions for enhanced safety in automated endoscope reprocessing. Faster: Often endoscopists must wait for endoscopes. Find out how you can speed up the process incl. drying. Low cost: The cost of reprocessing is high - especially concerning consumption of chemicals, consequential costs, damagedendoscopes and endoscope purchases. The workshop works out which possibilities are available to save costs.Presentations: Process improvements in endoscope reprocessing: Simpler - safer - faster - more cost-effectivePatrick Mertens & Stefan Stülpnagel, GermanyThis workshop is organised by Chemische Werke Dr. Weigert and BHT1617
