Theprogram will also help create andeducate a new generation of operaenthusiasts. My Voice in the Arts wasfunded through the Council Offices ofSherman, Cate, Gloria and Zapf.To apply, students must complete anapplication and submit a written 250500 word essay responding to thequestion: “One example of how art hasaffected me is ”To be a world class city, San Diegoneeds world class arts and entertainment.This new youth program will help inspirenew interest in the opera for the nextgeneration of San Diegans.Applications for My Voice in the Arts arecurrently being accepted. Flood insurance is onlyavailable through the National Flood InsuranceProgram (NFIP) and there is a risk 30 day waitingperiod before the policy is effective.
