This growthwas one of the goals we stated last yeargiven the demand we have had for ourstudents. Many offers have been left onthe table in the past few years and webelieve the industry deserves the influxof MMR talent and young talent deservesthe chance to discover the excitingindustry of research and insights.Such growth, however, also putspressure on the program regardingraising funds to support scholarshipsand activities, and time allocated byfaculty, staff, and alumni to work withstudents, and the number of employersneeded to place the class by graduationfully. Thankfully, our alumni networkand board members strongly supportthe program both in terms of financialsupport and time commitment, and wehope to grow this support as we intendto maintain the class size in the 25-30students range for the years to come. Weare also very thankful for the engagementof our board of directors. This pastyear, the board led efforts to revise thecurriculum and enhance the relationshipbetween the MMR program and corporatepartners. We are happy to announcemany of the suggestions have alreadybeen implemented in the curriculum(e.g., dashboards, Tableau, survey design, fusion of multiple datasets). We believethese changes will allow us to stay incontinued on page 6
