Crisis Nursery is lucky to partnerwith Books from Brek to support early literacy efforts within thehome environment.“– JOY SUGIHARA, FAMILY SPECIALIST6Baby TALK During home visits with a family, we’ve been monitoring thechild’s communication. Books provide the opportunity forparents to actively speak words to their child on a dailybasis. Even if the child is not able to state certain words, sheis able to turn the pages and look at the pictures with parentsand older siblings. The family looks forward to adding newbooks to their home library. Thank you Books from Brek!”Heart of Gold awards recognize the extraordinary everydayunsung heroes with hearts of gold and willing hands.
