Personal Alarms ServicesWhen recovering from a stroke and becoming more active you may haveconcerns about how you would get help if the need arose.Personal alarms may be an option you wish to consider. Personal alarms can offera variety of features such as the following;1) Push button communication: By pushing a help button you are connectedwith a privately operated emergency response centre that will assist youand can connect you with emergency services or other contacts whoseinformation you have provided2) Auto fall detection: This feature will detect a fall using your help buttonand automatically call the emergency response centre operated by yourservice provider.3) GPS tracking: A help button will track your location by GPS. This featurecan be used to direct emergency services to your location or allow peopleyou give permission to see your location via a mobile application.4) GoSafe: This is a medical alert option that uses a cellular connection toprovide service both in and outside the home.5) HomeSafe: HomeSafe is a medical alert option that uses your existinglandline connection or an independent cellular connection to provideservice exclusively in your home.The information below will provide you with an overview of the various servicesavailable.
