STUDY QUESTIONSApril 12, 2015Put Your Faith in JesusJohn 20:19-31Intergenerational questionWhat are some of your doubts about Jesus and faith?Branching OutRead John 20:19-31. What are the 3 things that Jesus says to the disciples when he greets them for the first time afterthe cross? How does this meet with what the disciples needed to hear? What would make Thomas question the word of his ten disciple friends? How are those questions answered a weeklater?John 20:30-31 reveals the purpose of the book of John. Does this surprise you? What was important to the author? What is so important about faith and having life in His name?Digging DeeperIs it fair to brand Thomas as a doubter? What do you think the rest of Thomas’ story was like? What does Jesus mean by“Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have come to believe?”The whole purpose of the book of John is about having faith in Jesus. What do you need to have faith? What did Thomasdo with his doubts? What do you do with your doubts? How is your faith right now? What could you do to build it up?
