Reset To reset the airGateway tofactory defaults, press and hold theReset button while the airGateway ispowered on. Hold the button until theLED alternates blue and white.Reset Ext To reset the airMAX deviceconnected to the airGateway to factorydefaults, press the Reset Ext button whilethe airMAX device is powered on. Holdthe button for more than 8 seconds untilthe LEDs on the device flash.Configure the airGateway1. Connect an Ethernet cable to the portlabeled POE IN.

2. Connect the other end of the cable toa 24V passive PoE adapter or switch.3. From a mobile device or computer,connect its Wi-Fi to the airGatewayaccess point (SSID) named:airGateway: MAC Address Note: Ensure that DHCP isenabled on your Wi-Fi adapter.4. Launch a web browser and go to:https://192.168.1.1

5. The airOS login screen will appear.Enter ubnt in the Username andPassword fields.Upon initial login you must selectyour Country and Language, andagree to the Terms of Use to use theproduct. Click Login.Note: U.S. product versions arelocked to the U.S. Country Codeto ensure compliance with FCCregulations.

6. Go to the System page and underSystem Accounts, click the key iconto change the default administratorusername and password.Click Change, and then click Apply tosave the changes.Note: The airGateway LED willturn white to indicate that yourchanges are being saved.

7. After your changes have beensaved and the LED is steady blue,disconnect the Ethernet cable fromthe airGateway.The airGateway is now configured andready for use.

Configure an airMAX DeviceUse a mobile device or laptop toconfigure the airMAX device at the pointof installation via the airGateway’s Wi-Fi:1. Power the airGateway by using a24V passive PoE adapter or a mobilebattery pack (min. 20,000mAhrecommended). PoE adapter Connect an Ethernetcable from a 24V passive PoEadapter to the port labeled POE INon the airGateway.

Mobile battery pack Connect amobile power pack to the Micro-USBport on the airGateway.2. Connect an Ethernet cable to the portlabeled POE OUT on the airGateway.

3. Connect the other end of the cable tothe airMAX device.4. Connect the Wi-Fi on your mobiledevice to the airGateway SSID.5. Launch a web browser onyour mobile device and go tohttps://192.168.1.206. The airOS login portal of the airMAXdevice will appear.7. Log in and configure the airMAXdevice as needed.

8. Once you have finished configuringthe airMAX device, remove theairGateway:a. Disconnect the Ethernet cable fromthe device.b. Connect the Ethernet cable fromthe PoE adapter to the device.

Limited WarrantyUBIQUITI NETWORKS, Inc (“UBIQUITI NETWORKS”)warrants that the product(s) furnished hereunder (the“Product(s)”) shall be free from defects in material andworkmanship for a period of one (1) year from the dateof shipment by UBIQUITI NETWORKS under normal useand operation.
