Everyone hada really good timeand enjoyed themselves. Through allof your participation this event isquickly becoming one of our best andcertainly an annual one.That said, we are officially into monthtwo of the ASPE calendar year! Thatmeans our first chapter meeting of theyear is right around the corner. Justlike last time, we are in-person, andwill be at our new meeting place –Dukessa. Registration is live on thechapter website so be sure to sign-upfor the meeting. Also, take a look atthe calendar online as well. All ourchapter meetings are already in thecalendar so you can see the yearahead! Plus the 2021 ASPE Technical Symposium is this September.Hopefully by now you have taken advantage of the early bird registration,but if you haven’t, registration is stillopen. We hope to see our fellowchapter members in San Diego thisyear. Feel free to reach out to a chapter officer to see if any Houston chapter members are doing anything ex-tracurricular while there.I also want to give a shout out to threeof our newest members: YasminYusri, Joe Velasco, and Glen Mallory.Welcome to the ASPE Houston Chapter! We hope to see you at the upcoming chapter meeting.Also, be on the lookout for the Chapter’s upcoming AYP event. Our AYPLiaison – Joe Brewers – will be sending out the details soon. For thosethat don’t know, AYP stands for ASPEYoung Professional, and is a specialgroup of ASPE members (nationwide)that are 35 years of age or younger.You can think of AYP as the next generation of ASPE. These are alwaysfun events and a great way for sponsorship.And speaking of sponsorship, thepackets for the 2022 Chapter sponsorship will be sent out in the nearfuture.
