It’s hard to believe itwill be May when you read this with summertime quicklyapproaching. We had the privilege of having ourChapter’s own Fred Dargahi and Jon Gotwald presenton their involvement with the much publicized St.Petersburg Pier at our April lunch meeting. Hope youwere able to join us to hear from Fred regarding his longhistory maintaining the existing structure and Jon and hiscolleague Jared Phillips regarding the latest 3-D surveytechnology to document the existing conditions of thepier. We are glad they are involved to bring soundengineering to this project.Fred worked his magic again for another successful golftournament fundraiser on April 26!Our two golftournaments during the year help bring in over 5,000for scholarships to local high school and collegestudents. We thank all our sponsors and volunteers thatmake these events such a hit!We look forward to seeing you at our monthly luncheonMay 9 and Board of Director’s meeting May 17.
