SPEECH THERAPYSERVICESPhoenixville Hospital offers several speechtherapy services through a dedicated group oflicensed speech therapists.If speech therapy is recommended, a patient evaluation willtake place during the first meeting. During this session, thespeech therapist will provide an assessment based on yourneeds followed by a formal treatment plan.Speech Therapy Diagnosis: Aphasia Fluency Apraxia Cognition Post ConcussionSyndrome Dysarthria Traumatic Brain Injury Dysphagia Voice Disorder,including LPRParkinson’s PatientsUnique to our speech therapy services is SPEAK OUT! forParkinson’s patients. The program typically consists of twelvespeech therapy sessions and daily home practice. SPEAKOUT! emphasizes speaking with intent and converts speechfrom an automatic function to an intentional act.
