1. What is Boom! Box GTS Toolbox?2. Install Boom! Box GTS ToolboxYou can update the map in your navigation systemwith the help of Boom! Box GTS Toolbox. Pleasemake sure your Harley-Davidson BOOM BoxGTS has software version MY19.18.35.00 or newer.The Boom! Box GTS Toolbox is quick and easy toinstall.It is a free-of-charge application that allows you topurchase, download, and install map updates onyour navigation system. Make sure that your computer meets theminimum requirements:०० Broadband internet connection isrecommended०० Operating system installed on yourcomputer (Windows 7 or newer version;Mac OSX 10.10 or newer) Make sure you have:०० a USB flash drive (minimum 16GB)3

For Windows1On https://harleydavidson.welcome.naviextras.com select the Download Toolboxbutton for Windows operating system.2.2.1For Mac (OSX)On https://harleydavidson.welcome.naviextras.com click on the Download Macversion button.2Double-click on the file and on the pop-upwindow press run to start the installation.2Boom! Box GTS Toolbox will automaticallydownload.3Select your preferred language of theInstallation Wizard.3You will find the downloaded installer file inthe ‘Downloads’ folder.4To install the application, follow theinstructions on the screen.45Double-click on the installer file, drag anddrop ‘HDBoomBoxGTSToolbox ’icon intoApplications folder to start the installationTo start Boom! Box GTS Toolbox, clickon HDBoomBoxGTSToolbox icon in the’Applications’ folder or start it from theLaunchpad.NOTE: Every time you start Boom! Box GTS Toolbox, it will automatically check for software updates. If a newerversion is available, it will be offered automatically.4
3. Navigation Data SynchronizingYou can update the maps and contents in yournavigation system with the help of the Toolbox,however you must first synchronize the navigationdata on the head unit with the Toolbox. This ispossible with a USB flash drive:1Insert a USB flash drive into your Boom! Box GTS navigation system and turn on thehead unit2Press Setup System information Navigation Export for Update 3Press the selected device on the screen4The data export will start automatically. Thiswill synchronize the system’s navigation datawith the USB flash drive.After downloading or purchasing new mapupdates, please follow the same synchronizationsteps as described above. You will be askedwhether you wish to install the new map updateon the head unit. Press ‘Install Now’ to begin theinstallation or ‘No’ if you wish to do it later.NOTE: Do not remove the USB until the head unitfinished exporting data.5Remove the USB flash drive from the headunit.5

4. Log-in and Registration4.1. Log-in1Start Boom! Box GTS Toolbox (from Startmenu or in case of OSX operating system,from ‘Application’ folder or from theLaunchpad)2Insert your USB flash drive (which issynchronized with your navigation head unit,see section 3.) into your computer.3Click on [Login]4Enter your email address and a password (atleast 6 characters long)If you have forgot your password and would like torequest a new one, click on [Forgotten Password]link.8
4.2. Registration1Choose [Register] to create a new account2Enter your first and last name3Select your country of residence from thescrollbar and you email address. Click on[NEXT] to proceed4Enter a password and confirm it5If you wish, you can tick the box to sign-up toreceive notifications about the availability ofnew maps6Read the Terms and Conditions and click onthe ‘Agree’ button7To verify your account, click on the email wesent to your email addressIn case you are entitled to free updates, you willbe redirected to the ‘Update section’ screen,otherwise to the ‘Home’ screen.9
5. Buy updates and extras1Log-in to Boom! Box GTS Toolbox andchoose [Buy Content] on the HOME screen2Select the map update by clicking on it thatyou wish to buy.3Place your order by clicking on [Buy xx USD].410Enter your invoicing data and click on [Next](If you have already purchased content inBoom! Box GTS Toolbox, then your addresswill be stored upfront. Issued invoices cannotbe modified, therefore, carefully check yourinformation before proceeding to payment.)
5Read the Terms and Conditions of Purchaseand click on [PAYMENT]6Choose the type of your credit/debit card andenter card information.7After your payment has been processed, clickon [Install]8Select the content you wish to Install andpress [Install] once again.Eject the USB flash drive, insert it into your vehicle’shead unit and upload the map update to yournavigation system (see section 3. Navigation DataSynchronizing).11

6. Download and install purchased orfree map updates1Choose [Update section] on the HOME screenYou will see: Items that you have purchased Free updates and extras that you areeligible for2Tick the box next to the selected availablecontent3Click on [Install] The progress bars show the Downloadand Installation progress. Wait until the process finishes, i.e. amessage with successful installationappears. Do not abort the Installationprocess.14
NOTE: If you do not have enough free space onyour USB flash drive (recommended size: 16GB),you will be prompted by a warning message. Clickon [Later] and free up some space on your flashdrive first and try to download again.NOTE: If you do not have enough free space onyour navigation system, you will be directed to‘Manage Content’ screen in the Toolbox whereyou can free up some space by selecting anddeleting the contents you do not need (seesection 9.6)The Download process may take longerdepending on your internet connectionspeed.The download process may be interrupted ifone of the following occurs: There is a problem with your internetconnection; You can retry the process orcontact your internet service provider An error occurs; You can try again theprocess, or alternately contact thecustomer support team (see section 8.) You aborted the download process byclicking on [Cancel]15
7. Intercontinental replacementIf you are planning a tour to another continent,you can update your navigation system with themap of that continent and restore your originalmap (the latest one purchased or downloaded)anytime. You can choose between differentcontents like Europe, North America, SouthAmerica, etc.NOTE: Multiple selection is not available. You cannotselect and install two different contents on the samedevice at the same time.1Start Boom! Box GTS Toolbox2Insert your USB flash drive (which issynchronized with your navigation head unit,see section 3.) into your computer.3Log in4Click on Home icon on the left-hand sidebarand go to [Buy content] on the HOME screen516Select and purchase a map of another regionwhich you would like to have. (For detailedinformation, see section 5.)6After your payment has been processed, youwill be directed to ‘Update section’ screen7Choose the map of another region you wishto download8Follow the instructions on the screen to installthe content
7.1. Restore original map contentYou can restore your original map anytime viaBoom! Box GTS Toolbox.1Start Boom! Box GTS Toolbox2Insert your USB flash drive (which issynchronized with your navigation head unit,see section 3.) into your computer.3You will be directed to ‘Update section’ onHOME screen4Choose the map of your home region torestore and click on Install.5Follow the instructions on the screen.17
8. Customer SupportIf you experience any problems while usingBoom! Box GTS Toolbox, or you have a questionor complaint, you can contact the CustomerSupport team. On the top left-hand sidebar click on [?] iconand choose Customer care menu.You will find the Customer Support team’s contactnumbers here along with a How-to guide, FAQ andthe About us and our policies page.18
9. SettingsAfter logging-in, the Settings, History, Languageand Device info screens can be accessed from anypage from the upper left-hand sidebar.9.1. Device infoYou can check the ID number of your device andthe used and free space on it.NOTE: If you do not have enough space on your device,you will need to delete some contents (see sectionManage content).9.2.LanguageBoom! Box GTS Toolbox is available in 14languages (Czech, Dutch, English, French, CanadianFrench, German, Italian, Polish, Portuguese,Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, MexicanSpanish, Turkish).1Click on the menu bar in the upper left-handcorner2Select Language3Choose the language that you wish to set.19
9.3. HistoryYou can always check and see all your installedcontents. Select an item to check the details of atransaction or click on [Show Invoice] link to seethe invoice of the transaction.9.4. SettingsHere you can: clear download cache manage content to free up space on yournavigation device9.5.My accountHere you can: change your invoice address by clicking on[Invoice address] change your email address by clicking on[Change email] check your previous purchases/invoices byclicking on [My purchases] change your email notification subscription byclicking on [Notifications] delete your user account by clicking on [DeleteUser account]NOTE: If you choose to delete your Toolbox account,you will not be able to update your navigation systemany longer. In case later on you wish to download mapupdates, you will need to create a new account in theToolbox.9.6.Manage ContentManage Content function enables you to changethe current contents on your device based on yourpreferred states/countries.20
