Doors at work in themedical sectorCoxa Oy Hospital lies in the rapidly expandingTampere University Hospital complex andhas been ranked among Europe’s 100 BestWork Places.Operational efficiency is crucial in hospitalsand requires highly functional doors. Inaddition, the doors needed to balanceaesthetic qualities with their functionalfeatures, as an overall design goal was tocreate a non-hospital atmosphere. This kindof facility also requires wide doors with fireresistant glass panels. With those criteria inmind, JELD-WEN supplied doors and frameswith a variety of functional purposes includingfire resistance and acoustical ratings.
