STATEMENT OF PURPOSE, TRANSFER AGREEMENT, AND TERMS OF AGREEMENTSTATEMENT OF PURPOSEThe purpose of the Transfer Agreements made between the University of Indianapolis (UIndy) and Ivy Tech CommunityCollege (ITCC) are to benefit adult learning students who have earned their Associate of Science in BusinessAdministration (TSAP), Early Childhood Education (TSAP), or Human Services (TSAP) degrees from ITCC and desire toseamlessly move to complete their Bachelor of Science or Arts degree in an adult learning accelerated program fromUIndy, a high-ranked, community engaged University.TRANSFER AGREEMENTITCC students who have earned their associate’s degrees in business administration, early childhood educationand/or human services may transfer and apply a minimum of sixty (60) credit hours to the requirements for thecomplementary adult learning accelerated program at UIndy for a Bachelor of Science (or Arts) degree.TERMS OF AGREEMENTAdult learning ITCC students are eligible for admission consideration into UIndy at a junior standing provided that:1. The student has submitted a complete application for admission to UIndy.2. A course grade of a “C” or better has been earned for the course credit hour(s) to be accepted for transfer.3. The student has a 2.0 or higher grade point average (GPA) on a 4-point scale.4. ITCC students complete their associate degree or completion credit hour requirements (Business Administration,Early Childhood Education, or Human Services) as approved by UIndy by the time the student is to start theappropriate degree program.5.
