The conditions areas follows: Shall participate in counseling,therapy, or a treatment program whichaddresses substance abuse issues; Any suchcounseling, therapy, or treatment programmust first be approved by the Board’s staff;Shall furnish a letter of proof of successfulcompletion to the Board certifying successfulcompletion of counseling, therapy, or treatmentaddressing the issued that led to the conduct;All conditions are at the expense of Mr.Boggess; and that all states and territories beso notified.1. Jefferson StreetPhoenix, AZ 85007SUMMARY OF BOARD ACTIONMOTIONVice President Carter made a motion, secondedby Member Cheng, to accept the NegotiatedSettlement Agreement for Renee Hollander thatstates: Ms. Hollander has agreed to a one-yearsuspension of any and all of her teachingcertificates, and that all states and territories beso notified.Motion passed 6-1.Superintendent Douglas voted no.MOTIONMember Cheng made a motion, seconded byMember Baker, to accept the NegotiatedSettlement Agreement and conditions forLauren Sieberg that state: Ms. Sieberg hasagreed to a one-year suspension withconditions. The conditions are as follows: Shallparticipate in counseling, therapy, or atreatment program which addresses substanceabuse issues. Any such counseling, therapy, ortreatment program must first be approved bythe Board’s staff. Shall furnish a letter of proofof successful completion to the Boardcertifying successful completion of counseling,therapy, or treatment addressing the issuedthat led to the conduct. All conditions are at theexpense of Ms. Sieberg; and that all states andterritories be so notified.Motion passed 6-1.Superintendent Douglas explained her no vote.7. SUMMARY OF CURRENT EVENTS,FUTURE MEETING DATES AND ITEMSFOR FUTURE AGENDAS.
