US/CANADA DIRECTORY OFSOCIAL WORK FACULTYINVOLVED IN INTERNATIONALACTIVITIESGoutham M. Menon, Ph.D.UNIVERSITY OF NEVADA, RENO gmenon@unr.edu2016

iFebruary 24, 2016Dear Colleagues,I am pleased to present the 2016 Directory of Social Work Faculty in the United States and Canada who are involved inInternational Activities. This was done through the behest of the International Task Force of the National Association ofDeans and Directors of Schools of Social Work and with the encouragement of those involved in international activitiesat the Council on Social Work Education.A survey was created in two parts and sent multiple times to the BPD, MSW and the NADD listservs. The first partconsisted of general question on international activities of faculty and their schools. The data on that will be analyzedand prepared for publication soon. The 2nd part of the survey asked faculty to provide their area of interest, country ofinterest and their email contact to help develop a directory. The main aim of the directory is to enhance networkingamongst ourselves and to nurture a mentoring relationship to new faculty coming into this field. The survey was designed with the help and input of Dr. Barbara Shank (St. Catherine University and University of SaintThomas Collaborative) & Dr. Darlene Bailey (Bryn Mawr College), Co-Chairs of the International Task Force of NADD; Dr.Steven Anderson (Michigan State University), and Dr. Robert Skiff (Roberts Wesleyan University). A big thanks to all ofthem!I hope you and your colleagues will find the directory useful and may it help in fostering international research, teachingand service.Sincerely,Goutham M. Menon, Ph.D.Director, School of Social WorkUniversity of Nevada, Reno
