SECTION 1: EXECUTIVE SUMMARYThe purpose of this report is to celebrate the academic accomplishments of the faculty, staff andstudents in the University of Kentucky College of Nursing during the 2018-2019 academic year.Mission: The mission of the University of Kentucky College of Nursing is to promote health andwell-being through excellence in nursing education, research, practice and service whilefostering diversity and inclusion.Vision: The College of Nursing will be one of the nation’s top nursing programs in education,research, practice and service.Values:UKCONUnique and innovative contributions to healthcareKnowledge and evidence-based practiceCollaborative and diverse learning environmentsOpen and respectful relationshipsNursing leadership and recognitionCollege of Nursing Strategic Plan Goals 2015-2020:1.
