ADMISSION PROCEDURETo enter the graduate programme in Economics you must meet one of the following requirements:I.An undergraduate degree (ex M.D. 270/04 or ex M.D. 509/99) obtained or to be obtained by 31December 2022 in one of the following degree classes: L-18 Economics and business management sciences (ex M.D. 270/04 or class 17 ex M.D. 509/99); L-33 Economic sciences (ex-M.D. 270/04 or class 28 ex M.D. 509/99). L-36 Political Science and International Relations (ex-M.D. 270/04 or class 15 ex M.D. 509/ 99); L-37 Social sciences for cooperation, development and peace (ex-M.D. 270/04 or class 35 ex M.D.509/ 99); L-41 Statistics (ex M.D. 270/04 or class 37 ex M.D. 509/ 99);and, in the study plan of the undergraduate degree, or as individual courses passed,a) Political Economy I/ Introductory Microeconomicsb) Statisticsc) General Mathematics or Mathematics for Economic Applications/ Mathematicsd) 3 courses in the area of economics in a scientific disciplinary sector between SECS-P/01 andSECS-P/06 (e.g. Political Economy II/ Introductory Macroeconomics, Economic Policy, FinancialScience, Public Finance, etc.)II.A maximum of two of the subjects in the Economic Area listed in point d) may be missing. RANKING LISTSApplicants participate in a merit ranking by submitting their application via the Enrolment Portal and maysubmit up to two applications per phase, indicating for each one the order of preference (e.g. Option 1 isequivalent to the first-choice programme/profile and Option 2 is equivalent to the second-choiceprogramme/profile) and choosing from the following courses/profiles:-Economics - Economics profile;Economics - one of the profiles in Italian;Management and business consultancy - Managerial profile (Milan campus);Management and business consultancy - Professional profile (Milan campus);Management and business consultancy - Relational profile (Milan campus);Economics and Business Law - Auditing profile;Economics and Business Law - Financial profile;Economics and Business Law - Professional ProfileManagementManagement for the enterprise;Markets and business strategies;Two rankings are drawn up for the Economics course, one for the Economics profile and one for theItalian-language profiles.Rankings are drawn up on the basis of the weighted average of the marks obtained in the exams takenduring the undergraduate programme when the requirements are checked. In the event of a tie, priorityis given to the youngest candidate.To find out about the procedure for applying for admission to the ranking, please consult the Guide to theEnrolment Portal.From the dates indicated in the section "Admission procedures and deadlines", candidates can find onthe website www.unicatt.it, under the heading "Rankings and waiting lists" on the page for the degreeprogramme in Economics the ranking of admitted candidates and any waiting lists.To find out how to and reserve a place, please consult the Guide to the Enrolment Portal.Admission to the programme indicated by the first option automatically entails the cancellation of theapplication for any second option expressed. Admission to and reservation of a place on the secondoption programme automatically results in the cancellation of the first option.Once a place has been reserved for one of the profiles in Economics, it is not possible toparticipate in the next phase for any of the programme/profiles listed above.The publication of the rankings is an official communication to the candidates concerned. ENROLMENT AND REGISTRATIONCandidates who have graduated, after reserving their place through the payment of the first instalment,must proceed to enrolment via the Enrolment Portal.To find out how to and reserve a place, please consult the Guide to the Enrolment Portal.The "General regulations for determining university tuition fees for the academic year 2022-23" apply toenrolled students.Students about to graduate, after reserving their place by paying the first instalment, must proceed topre-registration. For information on the pre-registration procedure please consult the Enrolment portalGuide.Pre-registration for the graduate programme is accepted with reservation and is subject to obtainingthe qualification within the deadlines laid down in the admission procedures.Pre-registered candidates reserve a place with the right to attend graduate programme courses fromtheir start. They are required to complete enrolment immediately after obtaining their degreeCompulsory exam: Candidates who have received a compulsory exam following the assessment of theadequacy of their personal preparation must necessarily take it during their university career and beforeobtaining their graduate degree. The exam is inserted in place of the elective provided for in the studyplan.6. CANDIDATES WITH DISABILITIES OR WITH SPECIFIC DISORDERS OF LEARNING (SLD)Candidates with disabilities or Specific Learning Disorders (SLD) are required to upload their disabilityreport or certificate of SLD in the appropriate section of their profile in the Enrolment Portal.For further information please contact the secretariat of the Services for the integration of studentswith disabilities and with SLD.7. TRANSFER FROM ANOTHER UNIVERSITY, TRANSFER TO ANOTHER DEGREE PROGRAMME WITHIN UNIVERSITÀCATTOLICA, SECOND DEGREE AND RESUMPTION OF CAREERCandidates wishing to transfer from another university, change course within Università Cattolica, enrolin a second degree programme or resume their university career must meet the ADMISSIONREQUIREMENTS and comply with the deadlines and procedures set out above using the EnrolmentPortal.An application for the validation of exams passed in previous careers may only be submitted after a placehas been reserved. In order to do this, you must confirm your place and, before proceeding withenrolment, submit your application according to the indications contained in the Enrolment Portal.For all graduate programmes in the Faculty of Economics, admissions to years following the first are notpermitted under any circumstances.8.
