WHAT IS OUR POLY LUMBER MADE OF?Raw Poly BeadsRaw Poly BeadsThe Poly Lumber we use in making all ofour quality hand-crafted furniture is made ofHigh Density Polyethylene (HDPE). This isthe raw material base used in the manufacturing of all our raw lumber. HDPE makesup on average 96% of the product. Theremaining 4% is colorant with Ultra-Violetinhibitors as well as blowing agents. Thereare absolutely no other products added intothis lumber such as wood pulp, wood fiberor fiberglass.The feed stock of HDPE that our lumbersource incorporates into their product iscurrently derived from Wide-Spec materialwhich is the off-spec / scrap material fromrefineries. All material that is used in theirproduct would be landfill bound if not forcompanies like ourselves that can use thiswaste to make a useful, high quality, handcrafted product. Hostetler Tables & Chairsindeed “ Thinks Green ”.Raw Poly Beads Being Mixed In AugerPoly Extruder MachineRaw Poly LumberExiting ExtruderA continuous extrusion process is used toproduce all our plastic lumber. The plasticpellets, colorant and foam are combinedbefore being fed into the extruder. Once thismix has been melted it flows thru dies thatform the plastic into the desired size. Theseboards then travel through a series of coolingchambers and tanks before entering a sawthat cuts it to length. The boards are thenpackaged on pallets for shipping . . . to us!Raw Poly Lumber On Pallets7

HOSTETLER TABLES & CHAIRSCARE & MAINTENANCEAll of our Poly Furniture is made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE).It contains an added UV protective agent that resists fading. It never requirespainting or staining, and will not promote bacterial growth. This durablematerial also stands up to the harshest outdoor conditions, will not rot orsplinter, and is not affected by most corrosive substances.In order to maintain the beauty of your furniture, clean it regularly with nonabrasive soap and water. Most colors require cleaning several times a year,however some colors such as white and other lighter colors may require morefrequent cleaning. In the event that your furniture shows signs of heavy soilor stains, it also may be necessary to spray it with a non abrasive cleanser.You may then scrub it with a soft bristle brush or use a high-pressure powerwasher.** Pressures should not exceed 1500 psi, and you should always keep thespray nozzle no closer than 8” to 12” away from the surfaces.Finish up with a rinse of warm water.Never place flower pots or any items on your furniture that will leave stains,and never place extremely hot items directly onto the furniture to avoid anypossibility of melting.The fasteners we use are all stainless steel and naturally resist corrosion, butuse caution in extreme conditions such as coastal regions. We recommendedthat you regularly rinse it with fresh water to ensure the longevity of yourfurniture and fasteners.Properly cared for, your fine Hostetler poly furniture will provide manyyears of comfort and enjoyment!Jonas D. WARRANTYPOLYETHYLENE OUTDOOR FURNITURETWENTY (20) YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY (RESIDENTIAL) *FIVE (5) YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY (COMMERCIAL) ** Revised Warranty Terms : 1/1/2019Hostetler Tables and Chairs warrants to the original purchaser that its polyethyleneoutdoor furniture products will be free of original defects in workmanship and materials fora period of twenty (20) years of residential use or five (5) years of commercial use unlessotherwise noted in this warranty. This warranty is effective starting on the date of purchase.At it’s option, Hostetler Tables and Chairs will repair or replace this product without charge formaterials and labor, providing our inspection indicates that an original defect does exist.Should Hostetler Tables and Chairs choose to replace the product, and the product is nolonger available at the time warranty service is required, a substitution of similar performanceand equal or greater value will be made.Polyethylene is a synthetic product and may scratch or fade slightly when exposed to sunlight, orstain after prolonged contact with other substances. Some expansion and contraction is also to beexpected due to extreme changes in humidity and temperature. The aforementioned shall not beconsidered defects in materials or workmanship and are not covered under this warranty.Stainless steel fasteners are warranted not to fail structurally for the applicable warranty period.Stainless steel may rust in certain extreme conditions (such as coastal areas) if not maintained.This warranty does not cover rusting fasteners or structural failure due to rusting fasteners, damagecaused by unauthorized service or repair, alteration of this product, abuse or misuse, normal wearand tear on materials, or any attempt to use the product in a manner or for a purpose other than forwhich it is customarily intended.This warranty also does not cover scratching or chipping of the polyethylene, however, thiswarranty shall not limit any warranties made by the manufacturer for such items whichmay extend to you.Swivels are warranted not to fail structurally for five (5) years of residential use and five (5) years ofcommercial use.Hostetler Tables and Chairs makes no warranties other than those which are specifically describedherein. Some states do not allow limitations of implied warranty so this limitation may not apply toyou. In that event, any such implied warranty is limited to that required by law.The only remedy provided in this warranty is repair or replacement of this product.
