Hood Community College (MHCC) to Oregon Institute of Technology’s(Oregon Tech) Bachelor of Applied Science in Technology and Management (BTM) will be given fullcredit for up to 60 credits of Career Technical Electives and additional listed courses as completed.This agreement is based on the evaluation of the rigor and content of the general education andtechnical courses at both MHCC and Oregon Tech, and is subject to a reevaluation every year by bothschools for continuance. This agreement is dated April 9, 2020.Baccalaureate students must complete a minimum of 60 credits of upper-division work before a degreewill be awarded. Upper-division is defined as 300-and 400-level classes at a bachelor’s degree grantinginstitution. Baccalaureate students at Oregon Tech must complete 45 credits from Oregon Techbefore a degree will be awarded.Admission to Oregon Tech is not guaranteed. Students must apply for admission to Oregon Tech inaccordance with the then-existing rules, policies and procedures of Oregon Tech. Students areresponsible for notifying the Oregon Tech Admissions and Registrar’s Office when operating underan articulation agreement to ensure their credits transfer as outlined in this agreement. In order toutilize this agreement students must be attending MHCC during the above catalog year. Choose from the followingMHCC prefixes: BI, CH, G, GS, or PH.3.Students can transfer up to four (4) credit hours of Math/Science electives into the BTM; these coursesshould be designated as Math/Science electives by Oregon Tech. Choose from the following MHCCprefixes: BI, CH, G, GS, MTH, or PH. ESR will not be accepted.4.To maximize useable credits toward the BTM, the listed course is recommended for the chosen AASprogram.5.Excess credits will transfer to Oregon Tech as general elective credit with the exception of developmentalcourse work; these credits will not be used toward the BTM.6.Baccalaureate students must complete a minimum of 60 credits of upper-division work before a degreewill be awarded.
