Introduction – Pneumatic ScrewdriversHigh accuracy, good ergonomicsAtlas Copco pneumatic screwdrivers bring accuracyand good ergonomics into the production process, whileoffering robust, reliable designs. The range includesmodels to fit any low torque application. The tools areavailable in pistol grip, angle and straight configurationswith drive types spanning a wide range of speeds andtorques.In this range of pneumatic screwdrivers,the proven and patented Atlas Copcoclutch design gives high torque accuracy and repeatable results over time. Allscrewdrivers are lightweight, with optimum non-slip grip and handle design foroperator comfort. A fast shut-off clutchgive minimum reaction impulse, thus reducing operator strain. All Atlas Copcoscrewdrivers can be used as lubricationfree.SLIP CLUTCH TYPE SCREWDRIVERSA COMPLETE RANGELUD and LUF HRD are direct drivescrewdrivers that stall when final torqueis reached. The torque level is adjustedby regulating the air pressure. LUD andLUF HRD are mainly used for self-drillingand wood screws.Our pneumatic screwdrivers are available in pistol grip, angle and straight configurations. The LUM, TWIST, LUF andLUD models are pistol grip and straighttools, and the LTV is an angle tool.SHUT-OFF TYPE SCREWDRIVERSLUM and LTV models have a fast andaccurate shut-off clutch for smooth performance and high quality tightening.They are suitable for joints with demandson torque accuracy, providing accuratetightening time-after-time, independentof variations in joint stiffness. ElectroStatic Discharge (ESD) approved models and RE models are available in thisrange. RE models enable a signal to bereceived from the tool, in order to control batch count. All RE models need tobe combined with an external RE control system. Shut-off tools are the bestchoice for machine screws, thread-rolling screws and thread-forming screwsfor plastic.TWIST and LUF HR screwdrivers have aslip clutch that applies a pulsating forcewhen the torque level is reached.
