They didnot get a new god, but worshipped the One and Only trueElohim (True Hebrew title for God) the only way they knewhow, through the pagan customs from Egypt. This was notand still is not acceptable to Yahweh. He is a jealousElohim (Deut. 5:9) and will not give His glory as eternalauthority of the universe to another, and rightly so. If Hehas given us truth, if He has laid out exactly how and whento worship Him in the Holy Scriptures, and more specificallyin Leviticus 23, why should He accept false, changedpaganism? Since the creation of the printing press everysingle person in the industrialized world, and even beyondhas had access to a Bible. The truth is so readily available.People can easily find it and should accept it. Since it is soeasy to access, why should the One and Only true Elohimaccept lies and false pagan worship toward Him? Paul to the Galatians in Chapter 4:8-11 "Howbeit, then indeed not knowing Elohim, you servedas slaves, to the ones not by nature being no gods. Butnow being known by Yahweh, how do you turn backagain to the weak and poor elements in which youagain wish to be enslaved. You observe days, andmonths, and seasons, and years. "These Galatians, once pagans and now believers,known by the Only true Creator of the universe were turningback to their pagan ways and observing the pagan practicesthey had come out of. I'm sure they were telling Paul theywere now worshipping Yahweh through their paganholidays. But again Paul said this was not acceptable. If aMoslem or a Buddhist became a believer in Yahshua as Sonof Elohim and Creator of the world, but still bowed down tothe stone idol of Buddha and now called the idol Jesus orYahshua, a child could see this is against the commandmentand blasphemy to Yahweh. When someone is truly baptizedas a mature adult and not as a newborn baby (another lie ofCatholicism), why is it so hard to see he, too, must put awaythe pagan practices of Christmas, Easter, Halloween? Hemust worship Yahweh in Spirit and truth.I would now like to take the time to show you somereferences, so you can see that these practices truly are notChristian but are pagan to the core. Actually anyencyclopedia can give you all the information that I will giveyou now, if you would only take the time. But I have doneyour reference work for you, so here it is.Christmas - is not a Christian holiday. Yahshua was notborn on December 25th. Luke 2:8 states that at the birth ofMessiah shepherds were in the field. This could not be onDecember 25th. The Catholic Encyclopediai says "Christmas9

was not among the earliest festivals of the church.” It didnot start to be observed as the birth of Messiah until the late4th century by the Catholic Church, who had taken over thetrue church by this time. The original name of Rome was Saturnia, meaningthe city of Saturn. Saturnalia was one of Rome's greatfeasts. It was celebrated from December 17-24. It was theirancient belief that the winter sun was slowly dying becauseit was seen rising further and further to the south eachmorning. By December 25, it could be recognized that itwas coming back north, and it was said to be reborn on thisday each year. This day was called Brumalia. During thisungodly festival, the city of Rome was covered with drunkenpeople, and orgies were taking place everywhere; ivy,ribbons, wreaths, and garbage covered the streets. This wasthe pagan festival of the winter solstice then calledSaturnalia, and now called Christmas!Mithraism was the largest pagan religion in theRoman and Greek world at the time of its rival religion,Christianity. The Mithraists were keeping the winter festivalcalled "the nativity of the sun", thus named because theybelieved that the sun was born each year on December 25.They also celebrated December 25 as the date of Mithras'birthday because he was their sun god. The religiousheadquarters of Mithraism was at Rome. And finally, a manby the name of Constantine, the Pontific Maximus (HighPriest of Mithraism), emerged on the scene. He felt inspiredto blend Christianity and Mithraism in order to bring peacebetween both rival religions, and he did it. It is well knownthat the Druids (ancient pagans) worshipped pine treesbecause they did not lose their needles in the winter, when itappeared that all other trees lost theirs. Anothermeaningless pagan tradition of man having absolutelynothing to do with our faith in Yahshua as Messiah forforgiveness of sin, but again more idolatry.EASTER SUNDAY - This false pagan day has not eventried to be masqueraded by a Christian name. The veryname Istar is the name of the pagan goddess Mother Earth,straight from Babylon. Again the early congregation nevercelebrated Easter but rather the Yahweh ordained festival ofPassover.1 Corinthians 11:23-24 "For as I have received of theMaster, that which also I have delivered unto you, thatthe Master Yahshua, the same night in which He wasbetrayed (Aviv 14, Passover Luke 22:7-20) took bread,and when He had given thanks, He broke it, and said,take, eat, this is my body, which is brokenfor you, THIS DO IN REMEMBRANCE OF ME".Again the Yahweh- ordained institution of Passover,to be kept in its season from year to year, (Exodus 13:10)was thrown out by the unholy Catholic bishops in favor oftheir pagan customs. Now a child canfigure out that from sunset Friday to Sunday morning it isimpossible to come up with three days and three nights.That’s, because our Savior was not crucified on a Friday orrose Sunday morning; which is another tradition of men,never questioned by most, but which could be proven fromhistory very easily. If you look at the scripture below fromLuke you will clearly see that our Savior could not have beencrucified on a Friday.Luk 24:18 And answering, one of them whose name wasCleopas, said to Him, Are you only one who resides inJerusalem and do not know the things happening in itin these days?Luk 24:19 And He said to them, What things? And theysaid to Him, The things concerning Yahshua theNazarene, who was a man, a prophet mighty in deedand word before Yahweh and all the people;Luk 24:20 and how the chief priests and our rulersdelivered Him to the judgment of death, and crucifiedHim.Luk 24:21 But we were hoping that He is the One goingto redeem Israel. But then with all these things, thisthird day comes today since these things happened.If this was on Sunday afternoon, then all we have todo is simply count back three days from Sunday afternoonand you will see the day that Yahshua was crucified.Anyway that you count you will not come up with a Friday15

crucifixion counting back three day from Sunday. Clearly Hewas crucified on Thursday.Where then did a Friday crucifixion and Sundayresurrection come from? Well, first let's take the crucifixion.Luke 23:54 " And that day was the preparation and theSabbath drew on. "That verse has been taken by many to mean the weeklySabbath or Saturday. So at the first glance you wouldthink this day of preparation is a Friday. But John 19:31correctly states,"The Jews therefore, because it was the preparation,that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on theSabbath day (for that Sabbath day was a Holy Day).”The book of Leviticus, the 23rd Chapter, verses 4-7,states:"These are the (Holy Days) feasts of Yahweh, even holyconvocations, which you shall proclaim in theirseasons. In the 14th day of the first month (Jewishcalendar, April) at even (sun setting) is Yahweh'sPassover. And on the 15th day of the same month is thefeast (Holy Day) of unleaven unto Yahweh, for sevendays you shall eat unleavened bread. In the first dayyou shall have a holy convocation (Holy Day Sabbath),you shall do no servile work.”The Sabbath spoke of in John 19:31 was not the weeklySabbath (Saturday), but the Holy Day of unleavened bread.So all we have to do is to go back and look in 30 A. D.,when the Messiah died, and see on which day the Passoverfell and on which day the Holy Day fell. The Jews haverecords of all Holy Days, going back 1,000's of years. Andyou will find that the Passover started on the evening ofApril 5th, which was a Wednesday. And since the Jews start16

their days correctly at sunset, Yahshua kept the Passovermeal according to scripture that evening and was crucifiedThursday afternoon. He was three days and three nights inthe grave, just like He said in Matthew 12:39-40 and herose from the dead after sunset Saturday evening. Also in Mathew 28:1, in theoriginal manuscripts it states “after the Sabbaths” beingplural, a holy day Sabbath on Friday, and a weekly Sabbathon Saturday. Yahshua was three days in the tomb17
