Comic strip projectTeacher instructions:1. This project is to review what my students have learned about Microsoft Word. Whenthey complete t his project they already know how to insert clipart and shapes as wellas crop clipart and arrange items on their screen.2. I print out a classroom set of pages 2-8 so I can reuse them in each class.3. I print out one copy for each student of the storyboard page and have them sketchtheir ideas. Comic strip projectYou will create a minimum of a 6 frame comic strip using MicrosoftWord. You may use the internet, butthe clipart should have many of theitems you need.Your comic strip should teach someonehow to do or make something! It doesnot have to be “funny.” Give the stepsneeded to accomplish a task. Look atthe examples for some inspiration. Thiswhole packet was made in Word.

Some tips!Change your Page Layout to Landscape Orientation beforeyou start. (Page LayoutÆ OrientationÆ Landscape).After you draw the first square, right click it and go toFormat Autoshape. Then, click the size tab at the top. In theboxes that come up, put in 3 in the heighth and width box.Click OK. Then repeat for the rest of the boxes. After allboxes are drawn, be sure to center them on your page orthey might hang off the page.Be sure to put a title and your name using a text box with ablack background and white bold text at the top. Becreative and use lots of different pictures. Really show thebackground (trees or buildings, or furniture if it is an insidescene). Also use callouts (look in Shapes) for dialogue.Check your spelling! DO NOT JUST REPEAT THE SAMECLIPART ON EACH BOX AND CHANGE THE TEXT! Movethe clipart, flip it, rotate it, change the view, get closer, viewthe examples carefully.
