JESUS IS YOUR RIGHTEOUSNESS2 Cor 5:2121 God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness ofGod.1 Cor 1:3030 It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God-that is, ourrighteousness, holiness and redemption.Phil 3:99 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which isthrough faith in Christ-the righteousness that comes from God and is by faith.Gal 3:6-76 Consider Abraham: "He believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness." 7 Understand,then, that those who believe are children of Abraham.Rom 3:2222 This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is nodifference,Rom 3:24-2624 and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. 25 Godpresented him as a sacrifice of atonement, through faith in his blood. He did this to demonstrate hisjustice, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished- 26 he did it todemonstrate his justice at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faithin Jesus.Rom 4:55 However, to the man who does not work but trusts God who justifies the wicked, his faith is credited asrighteousness.Rom 5:1717 For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will thosewho receive God's abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through theone man, Jesus Christ.Titus 3:55 he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy.
