The PEC Basic Orientation Trainthe Trainer course allows an instructor to administer the PEC Basic Orientation course which is aSafeGulf and SafeLandUSA accredited program. This Train the Trainer course allowsan instructor to teach the PEC Core Compliance and PEC Core Refresher courses. PEC CoreCompliance is also a SafeGulf and SafeLandUSA accredited program. It also prepares themto teach the PEC Basic Orientation course as a standalone course. The PEC Core Complianceprogram brings together the health, safety and environmental training modules (OSHA and BSEE)most requested by oilfield Operators and other host employers. This in depth training program canensure that your employees are compliant with your customers’ OSHA and BSEE safety trainingrequirements. Material presentation is structured to build on common content in a high intensitythree day format. The instructor led interactive training will allow you to teach other personnel inPEC Core Compliance. PEC Core TTT also includes instructor materials and authorization to instructthe yearly PEC Core Refresher (8 hrs.). Please visit our website atwww.pecsafety.com for a complete list of Train the Trainer course dates and locations.Important Instructor InformationAuditsThe SafeGulf/SafeLandUSA instructor and facility audits are Operator requirements that verify thematerial is taught correctly, consistently, and at a suitable facility.Instructor AuditYour instructor audit will be conducted during your Train the Trainer. Our PEC master instructor willhave you demonstrate your teaching capabilities to the other instructors using a module from PECBasic or Core Compliance. You will be evaluated on your performance, presentation skills, andknowledge of the material.PEC Safety 1.800.892.8179 www.pecsafety.comFacility AuditPEC will conduct an evaluation of your facility, either electronically or in person to ensure it hasa positive learning environment, adequate lighting, suitable ventilation, secure location to storestudent testing materials, etc. Every three years your facility must be re-audited to ensure yourtraining facility meets requirements. The costs for your facility audit are as follows:–– 750.00 for your first active instructor–– 100.00 each additional active instructor–– You will be invoiced for your facility audit every 3 years for all active instructors listedwithin our database. Please contact us if you have recently had a change of instructors toavoid unnecessary invoices.Professional Liability (Errors and Omissions) InsuranceFor legal reasons, PEC requires all Professional Instructors to have Professional Liability (Errorsand Omissions) Insurance. Registration priority is based on the order in which PEC receives registrationpayment from approved applicants. Registration is limited due to small class size so each participantreceives individual attention and feedback from the Master Trainer. The registration fee, payableby credit card, will not be applied to the cost of the Train the Trainer program. If the event a class iscancelled by PEC, registration fees will be refunded.Final NotePEC is dedicated to upholding the highest levels of safety training.
