No space for unentered dogsNotice:The Equine Hospital and Horse Barns are OFF Limits to all spectators and exhibitors.The Long Branch Mansion and immediate grounds and gardens are off limits toanyone with dogs.Please exercise all dogs within the show grounds.A judge requesting the use of a ramp must give notice to the show superintendent/show secretary prior to judging. AKC approvalis not required.The entire entry in a breed is to be examined in the same manner (ground, table, or ramp).At the discretion of the judge, the following breeds may be judged on the ground or on a ramp through all levels of competitionincluding Group and Best in Show judging: Lagotti Romagnoli, Clumber Spaniels, English Springer Spaniels, Field Spaniels, WelshSpringer Spaniels, Cirnechi dell'Etna, Irish Terriers, Kerry Blue Terriers, Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers, Staffordshire Bull Terriers,Finnish Spitz, Keeshonden, Norwegian Buhunds, Polish Lowland Sheepdogs, Spanish Water Dogs, and Norrbottenspets (Misc.).At the discretion of the judge through all levels of competition including Group and Best in Show judging, the following breeds maybe judged on the ground, a ramp, or on a table: Boykin Spaniels and Whippets.The following breeds must be judged on a ramp through all levels of conformation competition: Sussex Spaniels, Basset Hounds,Bulldogs, Chinese Shar-Pei and Chow Chows. This extends to all conformation competition at AKC conformation dog shows andany AKC event where a conformation title may be earned. This policy includes Group, BIS, Junior Showmanship, the 4–6 MonthBeginner Puppy Competition, the AKC National Owner-Handled Series (NOHS), and all other special attractions that offer Groupand BIS competitions.Ramps can be used in emergency situations to judge any breed.
