AYF and AffordabilityParticipation costs are often a deterrent to the sport of football. AYF is more affordable to lower income level families than any other national youth footballorganization. The costs of participating in AYF National Championships is 100% less than other nationalorganizations.Guiding BeliefsAYF believes that local leagues DO NOT NEED to spend MORE money to be part of aNational Organization. All AYF services are OPTIONAL and almost all services are LOWEST PRICE available andmany are FREE. All sponsors/partner prices are the “LOWEST AVAILABLE” and all offer a GIVING BACKcomponents. AYF partner Sadler Sports Insurance offers the most complete inclusive coverage at thebest prices to AYF leagues, saving money and providing PRICELESS peace of mind. AYF offers 1.50 background checks (by the same service as the Girl Scouts use). Grants are available to support those programs most in ‘need’. Scholarships and matching funds are given to our Academic All-American Scholars. AYF/AYC and MembershipMembership GenerallyAYF/AYC organizations across the world participate in flag football, tackle football, and cheer,dance, and step (collectively "cheer") events year round, depending on the location. To enjoythe many benefits of AYF/AYC, you must become a member at www.joinayf.com. AYF/AYCwelcomes organizations comprised of adults who put the best interests of the children first andwho will ensure the advancement of AYF/AYC’s Four Pillars.Regional/National Championship TournamentsWHAT OURMEMBERS SAY:“Thank you verymuch. After all theyears I have spentwith youth programs(50 years and a greatdeal with Pop Warner)this is what GlenScobey Warnerwanted for our youthand I am veryhonored to be a partof it.”- Betty SSan Diego YFCAYF/AYC hosts annual regional tackle football and cheer championships within each of the eightregions in November and our National tackle football and cheer championships in December inthe Orlando FL area. Teams desiring to compete in our regional and national tournaments mustcomply with the AYF/AYC national rulebooks and commit to entering the regional tournaments(and any qualifier) by September 15th of the current year. If you are interested in participatingin our regional and national tournaments, please indicate your interest in "Tournament Play"when you join and AYF/AYC will be in contact with you.Membership Fees (apply to both membership structures)AYF and AYC Membership Fees are paid on a TEAM /SQUAD LEVEL ONLY. There are noadditional Membership Fees to be a member of AYF/AYC or participate in any region (other thantournament fees). Cheer, Dance, and Step Divisions 2017If your cheer/dance/step squads are interested in competing in our championship regional/nationaltournaments, indicate your interest in tournament play when you sign up for your AYF/AYC membership.Like football, your organization must declare its intention to compete at regionals by mid September. AYCteams are to compete in AYC sponsored events and may compete in outside competitions as well.Competitive Cheer : 5, 6, 7, 8 – White or Red10: 7, 8, 9,10 – White, Red or Blue12: 9, 10, 11, 12 – White, Red or Blue14: 11, 12, 13, 14 – White, Red or Blue18: *14, 15, 16, 17, 18 – White, Red, or Blue*14 year old athletes must be in high schoolConference - Division 14 EliteAYC offers an “All Star” Division 14 Elite. All Inspiration Cheer teams are invited to perform at the Local,Regional, and National Championships.AYC offers “Age Waiver Requests” for teams that may roster a participant outside of the agecategory on a team. This is designed for situations where there is no team for a rosteredparticipant and he/she would like to participate. If there is a level offered then no waiver will begranted.Age Divisions shall be: Small Team 5 – 18 members Large Team 19 – 36 members

Championship Tournament EligibilityChampionship Tournament Members must comply with the National Paperwork Requirements.All Championship Tournament Member Teams are responsible for completing all nationalpaperwork requirements prior to qualifying for AYF/AYC Sanctioned Competitions.
