Youth & 4H DepartmentChairman: Trudi Moe-Roser 760-947-21694H & Open Youth Exhibits Guidelines All Entry fees are 1.00 per entry, unless notedAll previously noted General Information, Local and State Rules apply to the 4H and Youth Department.Open to all 4H and Youth residents of San Bernardino County and adjacent counties from the age of 2 years to 17 years depending on which youthgroup you enter your items with.Attention 4H Members: Policy adapted by the 4H Program:Fairs are open to primary members (4H youth between ages 5 to 8 years) as long as their projects and participation is not competitively judged.The use of the Danish and American Systems of Judging are not to be used with 5 – 8 year olds. Primary Members should only receiveparticipation recognition. Structured Competition is not appropriate for the 5 – 8 year olds.Age range is based on the age of the Exhibitor as of January 1, 2016.Entry forms are available at the fair office, in the back of this Handbook and on-line at www.sbcfair.com. Online registration is also recommended.Forms may be photocopied.Please put exhibitor name, division, class and description on each item for receiving day.If entry is “Theme” please state it on your entry form.If the exhibitor requires assistance with a portion of their project, please state what percentage of the project or what part was done by an adult and notthe exhibitor.School projects / Group projects, see divisions 600—607 for all entries.
