2June 2016LOFS SeasonalCommunity garden at Lion’s ParkMonthly UpdatePOA CommunityManagerLakes of the Four SeasonsJust a reminder: if the2016-17 dues were not paidby May 1, they are considered delinquent and all useof LOFS amenities are suspended including the use ofthe Four Seasons Parkwayand 117th Street entrances.The delinquent list hasbeen given to the POA attorney and liens will be placedagainst those lots due to nonpayment.Spring Branch collectionshave been completed for theentire community. Therewill be no POA providedbranch collections until thisfall.Lake EngineeringIn April requests for proposals were sent to five different engineering firmsfor a sediment analysis andwatershed evaluation for thetwo main bodies of waterinside LOFS; Lake Holidayand Big Bass Lake. TheBoard of Directors and Ihave been reading throughthe proposals. Once wehave deciphered all of theinformation we will choosethe most qualified and bestsuited for our needs.Trash Can PolicyReminder to All ResidentsEvery outdoor receptaclefor ashes, trash, rubbish, orgarbage shall be so placedand kept as not to be visible from any street, lake,or golf course within theSubdivision at any time except the times when refusecollections are being made.6:00 pm, prevailing time,on the day before the scheduled day of refuse collection,shall be the earliest time thatproperty owners may placetrash receptacles out for collection.The POA Board ofDirectors recently passed aresolution that trash and recycling containers must beput away at midnight the dayof collection.Dock ResolutionThe Board of Directorsamended the Dock policy toinclude a maximum width ofsix feet for dock walkways.This amended resolution canbe found on the LOFS website along with several otherresolutions and policies.Summer ConcertsFor those of you arriving at the summer concertsin golf carts, remember thatit must have a current POAsticker and lights are required on the carts if operated after dark. Also there willbe a 5 parking fee to all vehicles without current POARick Clevelanddecals. The fee will continueto be collected by volunteersfrom miscellaneous sportsgroups and committees.The money they collect willgo towards a project withinthe Community. Rememberthese concerts are an amenity paid for by property owners that are current with theirPOA assessments. They attend plays; in May it was theOdd Couple at the ValparaisoOpera House. They go onboat rides; in August it will beThe Spirit of Chicago. And inSeptember they will be goingon their yearly Diamond tourbus trip to Myrtle Beach.With 10 successful fundraisers to their credit, it helpspay for all their fun activities.In August they will have theirannual auction; this year itLakes of the Four Seasonswill be featuring all new merchandise.
