Their GPA requirement is 3.0 minimum in these courses to apply for theCEP. ASU will only use 3 credits to calculate your GPA even if you took a 4 or 5 credit math class. MAT140 (or higher) ENG102 BIO202 PSY101 or PSY240 ENG101 BIO201 BIO205Additional SQ Prerequisite (Formerly Chemistry)A college level chemistry course is not required as of March 2021. Instead, CEP applicants will need a transferable SQ lab science (4credits). BIO 156, CHM130 CHM 130LL, or CHM 138 CHM138LL recommended, but you can have any SQ science.Statistics: ASU will transfer in either MAT206 or PSY230 as statistics in lieu of SOC390, however if the student doesn’t haveprevious upper division credits they will likely have to take another course in its place. For students who do have a previousbachelor’s degree, taking statistics at Maricopa would save them money.
