Family SentimentsSis,I love you with all my heart. I will miss you dearly. Thanks be to God, His Spirit led you to come andspend the day with me just a day before you were hospitalized. Not knowing that would be the lastday of us being together on this earth. Sis, we had such a special bond, and you will always be close tome in spirit. I truly believe that. We will see each other again.Love your Sister BeaPauline,I have known you for over 40 years and I knew from the first time I met you that I would have afriend for life. I believe over time you became the big sister I never had because the connection andthe conversations were so easy for us. And in the last 18 or so years, we talked more about life, family, jobs (retirement), friends, food (especially our love for crab cakes), and the crazy shows oncable TV. I’m going to miss our conservations and our annual lunch outings for our birthdays. Ireally don’t know what I’m going to do, because I’m thinking of you all the time, but I know that Godwill get all of us through this heartache.Love you always and forever.SheilaPauline,You were never Pauline to me but always Aunt Pauline. During our visits we would laugh and jokeabout how we grew up together and I could always keep you laughing. I would say you were like abig sister to me and an aunt growing up. Because if you saw me do anything wrong, I knew for sureyou were going to tell my mother on me, as you would yell out mom’s name, “Thelma.” Whenever Itold you I loved you, you always said “love you more” and I truly believe that.Miss you, love youRicky

You Are LovedYou are lovednot only by familyBut by your Father God up aboveMother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend you wereknown to so manyYour love, kindness, hugs, wisdom, and gracewill leave a smile upon our faceYour memories will last a lifetimeand your presence and your voice will be embedded in our mindsWe will celebrate your life and will be strongknowing that God has called you homeAnd in the days to come, we will not weepKnowing in God's arms that you're now at peaceYour presence, conservativeness, and energy were like a ray of sunshine, and your devotion to your son and family was so divine. And although to your sisters and brothers you were their “Tootsie” and“Lean Bean” but to your late husband, you were his wife and his queenAnd from your son, I'm sure he will proudly say,Rest peacefully in heaven mother, until we meet again somedaytell Dad I said hello as the two of you were my superheroesAnd although our hearts may now be in painwe know that God doesn't make any mistakesand her life and legacy will not be in vain.Author: Alicia Walker-Smith
