Past Congresses have been held inPrague (1997), Geneva (1999), Mexico City (2004), Warsaw (2007),Amsterdam (2009), Madrid (2012) and Sydney (2013).More than 2,500 delegates from over 50 countries are expected toattend World Congress of Families IX— October 27-30 in Salt Lake City, atthe Grand America Hotel. Worth, Texas. Dr.Patterson was President of theSouthern Baptist Convention for twoterms, during which time he providedleadership in the revision of thehistoric confession, Baptist Faith &Message, and its subsequentadoption. Dr. and Mrs. Patterson havetraveled to and spoken in more than 125 countries and sharedthe Christian message with dignitaries including Yasser Arafatand Menachem Begin.
