For this reason, therecord of service work carried out iskept digitally in a central system andno longer entered in written form withworkshop stamps.documented without risk of loss,which helps to preserve your vehicle’svalue and protect the Service Scheduleagainst forgery.You will receive confirmation of theservices performed on a serviceprintout. At each service, this printoutwill be replaced by an up-to-dateversion.Should you lose the printout, yourAudi dealer will certainly provide youwith a new one.WarrantiesWe’ve got a long history of producinginnovative, high-quality products; andthe warranty on your Audi is nodifferent.Your vehicle has a 5-year Audiwarranty against mechanical defects,a 3-year paintwork warranty and a 12year warranty against through-rustingof the body panels from the inside.This enables the regular care andmaintenance of your vehicle to be fully1

Audi WarrantyCoverageAudi provides a warranty in accordancewith the warranty terms for new Audivehicles, as detailed in the contract ofsale.removed because of replacementbecomes the property of Audi. Youmay take your vehicle to anyAuthorised Audi Dealer for warrantywork to be performed.Audi warrants that your new Audivehicle shall be free of mechanicaldefects from the date of new vehicledelivery without mileage limit for aperiod of 5 years. The coverage islimited to vehicles sold andregistered in Singapore by anAuthorised Audi Dealer only.Change of ownershipThe warranty is not affected by anychange of ownership of the vehicle.Please note that this warranty doesnot cover normal wear and tear ordamage caused by abnormally roughor improper use, or unauthorizedmodifications.If your vehicle does break down,please contact your nearestAuthorised Audi Dealer.Items replaced under warrantyAn Authorised Audi Dealer must carryout any remedial work under warranty,and will repair or replace any defectiveparts at its sole discretion. Any partreplaced is warranted free frommanufacturing defect until expiry ofthe original vehicle warranty. Any partNote“Authorised Audi Dealer” means anyCentre in Singapore authorised by AudiSingapore on behalf of theManufacturer. “The Manufacturer”means Audi AG, Postfach 220, D85046 Ingolstadt, Germany.Maintenance and servicing of vehicleMaintenance services must be carriedout at the required service intervals(tolerance of 1,000km or 30 daysand with updated Service Schedule)according to the Manufacturer'sguidelines.If maintenance services is carried outoutside of the required serviceintervals (every 1 year/15,000kmwhichever comes first), warrantycoverage will only be limited to nonserviceable items.3

If you wish to reinstate your vehicle tofull warranty coverage, areinstatement fee is required to bemade to the authorised Audi dealer.Your vehicle can be eligible forreinstatement if it is lapsed not morethan 6 months after the 1st missedManufacturer’s maintenancescheduled service and no claim hasbeen made.Do approach your Service Advisor formore details.Warranty ExclusionsAudi is entitled to reject any warrantyclaim for any defect or malfunction ifsuch defect or malfunction is causedby:(a) the failure of the customer toensure that the vehiclereceives proper and periodicservicing according toManufacturer’s recommendedschedule and/or guidelines;(b) parts which have beenreplaced or modified by thirdparties;(c) Repair, servicing or otheractions carried out by thirdparties.4Vehicles sold and registered forcommercial use at the first date ofregistration in Singapore arewarranted by a 2 year unlimitedmileage warranty only.The following reasons can cause thewarranty to be voided and notreinstated (but are not exhaustive): The vehicle identificationnumber (VIN) has beenaltered or removedThe odometer has beendisconnected or altered or theactual mileage cannot bedeterminedVehicle being declared a totalloss, write off or theftVehicle no longer registeredin SingaporeVehicle used in racing andrallies or other organized orunorganized sports eventVehicle used for commercialuseVehicle used for hire orreward (e.g. taxi and peer topeer hire scheme)Vehicle used in transportationof goods for paymentVehicle used off-roadVehicle used for drivingschool, military, emergency or

recovery services, courier ordelivery service or similar useVehicle repaired incorrectlyTypes of service not covered by thewarrantyNon-warrantable service includes (butis not limited to) the followingexamples: Replacement of parts that aresubject to normal wear andtear with the use of thevehicle (e.g. mileageexceeding 100,000km)Any normal or scheduledmaintenance services such asthe replacement of oil,lubricants and fluidsAdjustment services such aswheel alignments, tyrebalancing, brake and clutchadjustment, or anymechanical adjustments thatmay become necessary as aresult of normal use or wearand tearSoftware updatesTypes of damage not covered by thewarrantyDamage not due to defects inmanufacture or materials – forexample, normal wear and tear– isnot covered by warranty. Damagecaused by improper handling ormisuse (as in motorsport, forexample), repairs, adjustments andreplacements arising fromcircumstances outside of themanufacturer’s control are also notcovered under warranty.Damage not covered by warrantyincludes (but is not limited to) thefollowing examples: Non-mechanical and nonelectrical parts (e.g bodyworksuch as chrome, panels, allglass items, seals, cup holder,water hose, decorative orinterior and exterior trimcomponents, ashtrays and keyfobs; and Parts such as tyres,wiper blades, air filter)Exhaust systemNormal noise, vibration, anddeterioration (e.g.discolouration, fading,deformation or blur)Wear and tear on items suchas brake disc, pads andlinings, clutch linings, tyres,rubber mountings, vehiclebattery, drive belts, sparkplugs, wiper blades, drivebelts, dry cell batteries, bulbsand fuses and textiles (e.g.5

Audi paint and anti-corrosion warrantiesAudi 3-year paint warrantyThe high quality paint finish of yourAudi is covered by a 3- year unlimitedmileage warranty againstmanufacturing defects.Audi 12-year anti-corrosion warrantyYour Audi bodywork is covered by a12-year warranty from the date of firstregistration against bodyworkthrough-rust corrosion from the insideout. There’s a good reason why we’reso confident in our bodywork. It’sbecause of the full galvanisation on allmodels, special rust-proofingtreatment on all internal bodysections and – on certain models – arust-proof all-aluminium construction.Your anti-corrosion warranty covers allthe main body panels, but excludestrim parts. Corrosion which developson the external surface of any panel isalso not covered.If you’re unlucky enough to have anaccident, an Authorised Audi Dealercan repair your vehicle to give it thesame level of anti-corrosion protectionbuilt in during the originalmanufacturing process.7

Audi Roadside AssistanceYour new vehicle comes complete witha 5-year complimentary roadsideassistance in Singapore. Audi willensure you receive assistance quicklyand efficiently, 24 hours a day, 365days a year.Enquire with your Authorised AudiDealer for the scope of servicesprovided by the Roadside Assistance.Certain services are chargeable (e.g.Battery replacement when battery ismore than 12 months old and Lockout service).For help with your vehicle, simply call 65 9828 1233 or enquire via theAudi Top Service App.Your Audi Customer Care Advisor willidentify your needs and arrange themost appropriate services for yoursituation.
