2Proweigh BrochurePROWEIGH is Sasco’s core weighing software solution whichcan interface with most weighing indicators. The system has beendeveloped on the principle of standardization with maximum in-builtfunctionality.Functionality levels are activated based on the User’s license, andthese range from straight forward basic weighbridge weighing,through to axle weighing, SOLAS weighing, multi bridge operations,weighbridge automation, and the total integration of weighing datagenerated with user IT systems, either directly or through the Cloud.Product OverviewSasco has sought to develop a software platform that can, from the outset,be easy to use while at the same time providing an array of functionalityoptions that can be activated without significantly changing the operator’smode of operations.ProWeigh therefore has several levels of User license options: Standard License: This license provides for a wide range of operatingfunctions including compatibility with multiple scale device types, axleweighing, SOLAS weighing, tare weighing, a range of ticketing formatsincluding compliant axle weighing tickets and SOLAS weighing ticketsand fleet data base management, is set up with South African permissibleloading values and the language used is English. Add-on Regional Functionality: This add-on license provides forPortuguese and French language functionality and the selection ofpermissible loading values as set by the various countries in the SouthernAfrica region. Add-on IT Interfacing Functionality: This add-on license provides foreither, the direct interfacing or indirect interfacing via the web, of all theweighing data contained on the hard copy weighing tickets generated byProWeigh , to be directly interfaced with User’s IT systems. Add-on Automation Functionality: This add-on license providesfor a range of weighbridge automation hardware to be installed at theweighing device, and for ProWeigh to interface with and operate thesedevices through the weighing process.

Data Capture SequencingThe data capture sequencing for ProWeigh , both at the Standard License Level, andwith Add-on licenses essentially follows a common sequencing:First action: Capture theregistrations of the horseand trailer units. This mustbe inputted on the PC, keyboard or if Barcodes or QRCodes are being used thesemust be scanned.Second action: For unitsthat are pre-loaded on theFleet Master file in ProWeigh,confirm the configurationpicture that is generated. Ifnot on the Fleet Managerdatabase, select the rightconfiguration picture fromthe menu.Third action: Once theweighingprocessiscomplete, print the weighingticket. If ProWeigh is set upto integrate with the User’sIT system or Sasco Cloud,all the relevant weighinginformation will also beimmediately transmittedelectronically to this datadestination.
6Proweigh BrochureERP InterfacingAs organisations move towards the interconnected industry of the future there is agrowing need for the ability to integrate various processes of a business with theircentralised management systems.It is with this in mind that we have developed the integration features of ProWeigh.ProWeigh offers two distinct integration methods, the first being BusinessConnector which synchronizes data between your various weighbridges with acentral database, from here it can then be integrated into a host of applicationsincluding ERP’s such as SAP, Sage, and Syspro as well as reporting tools likeQlikView and Microsoft PowerBI.The second method is Web Services which is a standardized messagingprotocol which allows you to closely interact with ProWeigh to maintain andmonitorvarious aspects of the software. Axle Weighing TicketFormatThe standard Proweigh weighing ticket is set out below. The amount of data includedon these weighing tickets will vary depending on the configuration of the system, theuse of Fleet Manager and/or the integration with Sasco Cloud.
