www.wealdelectronics.comLMH RANGEDESCRIPTION & CHARACTERISTICSLMH RANGEThis range of miniature bayonet connectors is manufactured in accordance with BS9522 F0017 and BS/CECC 75201-003, and performs torequirements of MIL-DTL-26482 Series 1 (Solder Terminations). The range comprises 9 shell sizes and various styles. Configuration of contactsvaries from 2 to 61, spread across the nine shell sizes.LMH/LMHF BASIC CONSTRUCTIONConnector shells are manufactured from aluminium alloy. The standard shell has a high resistance to corrosion with an olive drab chromateconversion over cadmium plate finish.Inserts are of polychloroprene, compounded to a WEALD specification. Operating temperature range is -55ºC to 125ºC. The connectors havegold plated, non-removable, solder or pcb type contacts.EMC SCREENINGTo satisfy electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and electromagnetic pulse (EMP) requirements, free shells can be fitted with grounding fingers.Fixed & free shells can be fitted with accessories for screened cable termination.POLARISATIONTo avoid mis-mating with similar connectors which may be adjacently mounted, LMH connectors may be polarised thus:a)b)Angular Disposition of the Inserts within the Shellproviding up to four different orientations other than Normal (N). These are designated W, X, Y, Z.See Table on page 10 for variations available in each planform, or;The Position of Shell Keys and Keywaysproviding up to four different polarisations other than normal (N).
