CertificatesThe blue water sailing yacht BIANCA 43 is built to the standards and specification,established by the European community (CE) in the Category A (unrestricted deep seasailing). The Hull and deck is furthermore constructed up to and above the standardsand specifications established by DNV (Det Norske Veritas).HullThe hull is built to the highest standards and traditions of Danish craftsmanship, usingthe finest quality of fiberglass and polyester with a surface of white gelcoat includingthe 120 mm heighten of the freeboard. The underwater hull up to 30 cm above thewaterline is made of massive fiberglass with the first layer in 300 g. isophtalic and isissued with 4 strong stringers. The rest of the hull is made in a sandwich constructionwith a 20 mm balsa wood core. Integrated in the hull are the dark blue water pass andthe easy identifiable light and dark blue BIANCA stripes. In the freeboard are 4portlights and the Hull is protected with a solid brass rail mounted on a teak woodfender. A 4200 kg lead keel is integrated in the hull (the weight of the hull without keel1.800 kg)RudderThe fiberglas rudder is mounted on a strong solid alumininum construction to insuresensitive answering to the helm. BIANCA 43 is issued with a Whitlock Quadrantsteering wheel has a 800 mm diameter. Compass is mounted on top of the steeringwheel column. Further more BIANCA 43 has an additional emergency tiller.DeckThe BIANCA 43 deck is handmade in a Sandwich construction with a 20 mm balsawood core. The top of the roof has an antiskid surface and the sides have anintegrated dark blue stripe. The running deck is mounted with solid teak wood withblack stripes glued on in SICAFLEX. The cabinceiling is white varnished with mahogany trimming.Salon:The salon has a total height of more than 200 cm and in the port side is equipped witha U- shaped sofa made of the finest upholstery. In the starboard side in front of thesofa there is a large table and an other large sofa. All sofas and settees have a highback to insure very comfortable sitting. Curtains are coordinated with the colours ofthe sofas. Top locker and the bar- locker with hidden lights source. Bookshelves.
