2a. Connection SettingsHere you will see Connection Settings Tab of Eniture – FedEx LTL Freight QuotesBilling AccountNumberYour FedEx Billing Account Number. This is always the main accountnumber on the account and is almost always the account number you woulduse if you were shipping a parcel shipment. If you don’t have one pleasecontact FedEx.Meter NumberThe Meter Number you obtained from FedEx.
PasswordThe Password you obtained from FedEx.AuthenticationKeyYour Authentication Key.ShipperAccountNumberFedEx Freight identifies a specific account number for what it refers to asthe “Shipper Account Number”. Often it is the same as the Billing AccountNumber, but not always. If you aren’t sure, contact FedEx CustomerSupport.Billing AddressThe Billing Address on record for the main FedEx account.PhysicalAddressThe Physical Address associated with the Shipper Account Number.Third PartyAccountNumberPlugin LicenseKeyFedEx Freight will issue a different account number if your shipments haveorigin and destination addresses that don’t match the address on file. This iscommon if you tend to drop ship items from vendors to customers orsuppliers. If you have one of these account numbers, enter it here.The Plugin License Key is issued by Eniture Technology. A license key isprovided to registered users only. If you already have a license key butdon’t recall what it is, sign into eniture.com and retrieve it from the MyLicenses tab of the dashboard. Otherwise, access the product FedEx LTLFreight Quotes detail page, select a subscription package and complete theregistration process.When you’re done save your connection settings and then test them by clicking on the TestConnection button at the bottom of the section. A message will display telling you if theconnection to the FedEx servers was successful. If you receive an error, confirm the values youentered and try again. Be particularly attentive to capitalization. Most of the information youenter in this section is case sensitive.2b. Identify your warehouse and drop ship locationsClick the Add button in the appropriate sections to add warehouse and drop ship locations.Warehouses should have a complete inventory of all products not otherwise identified as dropshipped items. If you have more than one warehouse defined, the warehouse closest to theshopper will be used to retrieve shipping rate estimates. You should define at least onewarehouse, even if all of your products are drop shipped. This ensures that quotes will bereturned in the event the drop ship location was overlooked when the product entry was created.Drop ship locations usually represent vendors that supply items that you don’t inventory. Theseitems are shipped directly to your customer on your behalf. When an order includes drop shippeditems the shopping cart will display a single figure for the shipping rate estimate that is equal tothe sum of the cheapest option for each shipment required to fulfill the order.
2c. Quote settings
Click on the link for Quote Settings and make your selections.Identify how you want the quote labeled in the checkout process. Acommon choice for this field is “LTL Freight” or “FedEx Freight”. IfLabel Asleft blank quotes will be labeled “FedEx Freight” and then “Economy”or “Priority”.Select which FedEx Freight services you want to be quoted to yourshoppers. To make multiple selections hold down the Crtl key (PC) orCommand key (Mac) and click on the service. Selected services willQuote Service Optionsbe displayed only if the service is available to the destination. Checkthe FedEx service guide or FedEx.com for a description of itsservices.Show Delivery Estimate When checked, the carrier’s estimated transit time will be displayed.Always QuoteWhen checked, the quotes will include the carrier’s residentialResidential Deliverydelivery fee.Residential AddressAdd-on to automatically detect if shipment address is residential. SeeDetectionnext section.Displays only if the Residential Address Detection extension isinstalled.Choose a plan that best meets your needs. The credit card associatedwith the quote extension license will be billed immediately and theAuto-renewplan will become your current plan. Your choice will be retained forthe auto-renew option. You can change your auto-renew selection atany time. Plans automatically renew at the end of every monthlybilling cycle or upon the depletion of the current plan. To prevent arenewal, choose Disable from the list of options.Displays only if the Residential Address Detection extension isinstalled.Current planDisplays information about the current plan and the start and end datesof the current subscription period.Displays only if the Residential Address Detection plugin is installed.Displays information about the consumption of the current plan. TheCurrent usagedate shown is the UTC timestamp of the last time a residential addressdetection event occurred.Displays only if the Residential Address Detection extension isinstalled.Checking this box temporarily suspends the Residential AddressSuspend useDetection extension. It does not permanently disable it and if thecurrent monthly billing cycle expires, a new plan will be activated. Todisable the extension, deactivate it or choose Disable from the Autorenew drop down.Always quote lift gate When checked, the returned quotes will include each carrier’s lift gatedeliverydelivery fee.
Offer lift gate deliveryas an optionAn additional option for LTL freight will be offered that includes thelift gate delivery fee.Displays only if the Residential Address Detection extension isinstalled.When enabled, if a residential delivery address is detected the lift gateAlways include lift gate delivery fee will be included in the shipping rate estimate. In suchdelivery when acases, the option to Offer lift gate delivery as an option will beresidential address issuppressed, even if enabled. Enabling both the Offer lift gate deliverydetectedas an option setting and the Always include lift gate delivery when aresidential address is detected setting allows commercial customers tochoose whether or not lift gate service is needed while alwaysrequiring it for residential customers.The Advanced Plan is required to use this feature. If you aren’t on theAdvanced Plan the words Advanced plan required will be displayed.Click on the Advanced plan required text to upgrade your plan andgain access to the feature.When checked, an option to have the order held at the deliveringHold At Terminalterminal will be one of the shipping methods presented to the user.The quoted amount will be the same as a quote to the ship to addressif it were a commercial address and would not require lift gatedelivery (the “standard LTL rate “). This will be a more economicaloption for customers who would otherwise be subject to the residentialaddress and/or lift gate delivery fee(s).Increases the amount of the returned quote by a specified amount priorto displaying it in the shopping cart. Enter an amount and use the fieldbelow to identify the unit of measure. A “5.0” entered with a unit ofHandling Fee / Mark Upmeasure of “percent (%)” will mark up the rate by 5 percent. A “5.0”entered with a unit of measure of “flat rate” will mark the rate up by 5.00.Identify whether your LTL rates are calculated off of a negotiated orDiscountspromotional discount.When checked, the LTL Freight Quote plugin will return quotes whenReturn FedEx Freightan order’s total weight exceeds 150 lbs, even if none of the productsquotes when an order’shave settings to indicate that it will ship LTL. To increase theparcel shipment weightaccuracy of the returned quote(s), all products should have accurateexceeds 150 LBSweights and dimensions.
