Content areasinclude fair claims handling practices, adjuster law, auto coverage, HO liabilitycoverage, CGL, business auto coverage, subrogation, and field investigation (whichincludes practical application exercises for investigation and negotiation, like auto andtruck accidents, slip & fall, and related products). Participants will also learn properreporting structure and use of the CiQ mobile app.Participants must have a current adjuster’s license to register for this class.This course requires pre-study that must be completed prior to attending class.Residential Property Loss Adjusting (VILT)This virtual instructor-led class is necessary for building a foundation for a career as aproperty claims professional. Course content includes property claims fundamentals(including the claims process), policy analysis, property loss investigation, constructiontechniques, damage assessment, Xactimate estimating, personal property claims, timeelement and industry standards, and specific client claim handling. Participants aregiven the opportunity to apply what they learn to case studies involving actual fieldproperty loss adjusting. Participants have a choice of two sessions in 2021which comprise these two parts.
