With anactive Safety Connect subscription,Enhanced Roadside Assistancecoverage is included. See yourLexus dealer for details.Services Provided Roadside services such asbattery jump start, tire change,fuel delivery, lockouts, vehicleextrication and towing incase of minor accident. It can beaccessed by any Lexus dealershipin the United States — a greatconvenience if you relocate or needto have your vehicle servicedwhile traveling.Vehicle Service AgreementsIf you plan to keep your vehicle forseveral years or if you accumulatemileage quickly, you may want topurc hase a Lexus vehicle serviceagreement. These agreements coverthe cost of specific repairs beyondAMENITIESYou may have noticed a few mileson the odometer when you tookdelivery of your Lexus. This mileageis a result of the comprehensiveprocess used to ensure the quality ofyour vehicle. This process includesex tensive inspections during andafter production. The final inspectiontakes place at the selling dealershipand includes a road test conductedby a certified Lexus technician.the factory warranty period. Theyalso cover services such as towing,substitute transportation and lodgingto minimize your inconvenienceshould your vehicle require repair.Lexus vehicle service agreements areavailable with a variety of coverageoptions. A Lexus dealership salesconsultant can help you select theplan that’s best for you.Body RepairsIf you’re involved in a collision, youwant your vehicle to be returnedto its pre-accident condition whenrepaired. That’s why it is importantto make sure repairs are made onlywith Genuine Lexus Parts. Lexus hasa select group of certified collisioncenters that have undergone rigoroustraining to ensure the highest qualityand customer satisfaction. A list of theseLexus Certified Collision Centerscan be found at: LexusCCC.com.Some repair shops and insurancecompanies may suggest usingimitation or salvaged parts to savemoney. However, these parts do notmeet Lexus’ high standards for quality,fit and corrosion resistance. OTHER BENEFITS AND ASSISTANCEAMENITIESGenuine Lexus PartsThe best way to ensure that yourvehicle is repaired with Genuine LexusParts is to take it to a Lexus dealership.Warranty coverage is not dependentupon the use of any particular brand ofreplacement parts and you may electto use non-Genuine Lexus Parts formaintenance and repairs. However,use of replacement parts that are notequivalent in quality to Genuine LexusParts may impair the effectivenessof the emission control systems.The Smart KeyYour Lexus vehicle was made withtwo “Smart Keys” and an aluminumkey-number plate. Each Smart Keyincludes an electronic main key thathas an integrated mechanical backupkey. The electronic key controls theremote-entry and theft-deterrentsystems, enables the push-buttonstart switch and controls the engineimmobilizer. The mechanical keycan be removed from the electronickey and used to operate the driver’sdoor lock, the glove box lock andthe trunk lock (if equipped).Replacing the KeyYour Lexus dealer can generatereplacement keys. Certain bonded/registered locksmiths may also beable to generate replacement keys.When ordering a new key, bring allkeys for the vehicle to your dealership.8Other Benefits and AssistanceIf a Smart Key or the key-numberplate is not available, a Lexus dealeror certain locksmiths can obtain thekey code from a restricted-accessdatabase. These businesses can alsoaccess a service utility to registerthe keys to the vehicle if all registeredkeys have been lost.If you lock your key in your vehicleand do not have a spare, your dealercan make a new mechanical keyfrom the code on the key-numberplate. Certain bonded/registeredlocksmiths may also be able togenerate a replacement mechanicalkey. If a Lexus dealer is not available,please refer to www.aloa.org to finda bonded/registered locksmith whoperforms high-security key service.Keeping the Key SafeReplacing a Smart Key may becostly. We advise you to keep aspare Smart Key and the key-numberplate in a safe place. If you record thekey number in more than one place,do not record it in a way that canbe easily identified and associatedwith the vehicle. For example,don’t leave the number somewherethat can be accessed by a valet.It is wise to keep a copy of the keynumber outside of the vehicle.
