1General1.1 Product description1.2 AdvantagesThe QX pumps are the 5th generation of Bucher internalgear pumps, which have proven themselves in thirty yearsof service around the world. Numerous improvements havebeen made to the straightforward and robust design.S Extremely long service lifeAdvances in the manufacturing process have made it poss ible without making higher demands on individual compo nents to build pumps that are considerably lighter and morecompact.S Volumetric efficiency up to 98%S Suitable for use with variable speed driversS Can be used with fire resistant fluids (HFB, HFC and HFD QXV), fuels, biodegradable and low-viscosity fluidsS Certifications by ATEX 2, ABS, DNV, GL, LR, NK, .S Low flow and pressure pulsationsA new tooth profile, conceived and optimised with the helpof CAE, has yielded another significant reduction in noiselevels. Large sealing areas result in higher efficiencies.The internal ring gear is supported by a hydrodynamic/hydrostatic lubrication film, which allows operation at lowviscosities or low and high speeds.
