3CONTEST FLOW

4All contest rules and regulations from the 2022 TECA Constitution and By-Laws and2022 WGI Rule Books will be followed.PARKINGSpectator parking is in the SHS Student Lot at the corner of Lamar St. and College St.GUARD: Equipment trucks (floors and props) will be unloaded at the SHS PAC right at1315 E Cedar St where these items will be stored. After unloading floors and props,equipment trucks should park in the lot closest across the street at the marching padat the intersection of Cedar St and King St.PERCUSSION: Equipment trucks may park and unload in the bus loop o College St.First come, first served space for warm up zones and parking.Buses should unload at the PAC for unit check-in, then should park at the lot closest tothe intersection at Cedar St. and King St.CHECK-INGUARD: The check-in table will be located at the PAC entrance. Performing membersmust check in prior to warm-up.Equipment - At check-in, performers must show the check-in representative thatequipment is appropriately padded and taped.PERCUSSION: Check-in will be at the volunteer table located just inside the glass doorsfrom percussion warm up in the main hall. Signs will point the way.Maps of the school and performance times will be available.

5PERFORMERS, CREW, & STAFF ADMISSIONAdmission will be given to performers and up to 10 student crew members.UNIT HOLDING AREAEach unit will have a designated area in the Cafeteria to store personal items.Concessions will be available both in the cafeteria and at the SAC.No outside food or drink is allowed in the high school.Students and Sta may not spin, toss, or maneuver equipment inside any of thebuildings at any time other than in designated areas. You may use the area between thecafeteria and the Athletic Complex for extra equipment warmup.PERFORMANCEReady – When it is time for your group to be ready, report to the Volunteer table in thehall just outside the cafeteriaEquipment and props will be double checked for appropriate taping for protection ofthe gymnasium floors.Body Warm-Up – From the volunteer table, students will proceed to body warm-up.Students may stretch or do a run through of body mechanics. No equipment will beutilized during the body warm-up segment of the o cial warm-up time. A sound systemwill be available.Equipment Warm-Up – From Body Warm-Up, students will proceed to equipmentwarmup. The group will be in a holding area until the Equipment Warm-Up time starts. Asound system will be available.

6Performance - After Equipment Warm-Up, students will be led to the performancearea. The group will be in a holding area until the o cial set-up and performance timestarts.We will be using a VERTICAL Center Line Flow for the Performance Area.DRUMLINES: Units will warm-up on the behind the Library in and around the bus loopand will be directed to the performance gymnasium.GUARDS: Units will enter from the area closest to Equipment Warm-Up and will exit onthe opposite side.

7POST PERFORMANCEAfter you exit the performance area, sta members should make sure that equipmentis put away. Guards will be directed to a floor-folding area in the stadium. Please foldfloors quickly and exit the area to prevent a “tra c jam.”RETREATCaptains will line up in the warm-up gym after the last performance. Retreat shouldbegin promptly at the conclusion.Critique There will not be a critique at this show.Admission (Spectators) Students - 5.00 (children under 5 free) Adults - 8.00CONCESSIONSConcessions will be available throughout the contest at the performance gym (SAC) andin the cafeteria. Outside food or drink will not be allowed inside the school.
