Dr. Kimberly Randell, Children’s Mercy Kansas City, UMKCSchool of MedicineKimberly Randell is an Attending Physician in the Divisionof Emergency Medicine at Children’s Mercy Kansas Cityand Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University ofMissouri-Kansas City School of Medicine. She graduatedfrom the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in2002, followed by a pediatrics residency at Children’sMercy and a pediatric emergency medicine fellowshipand master’s degree in clinical investigation sciences at theUniversity of Louisville. Her research and advocacy focuson interventions in pediatric healthcare settings to preventand mitigate the negative impacts of childhood intimatepartner violence exposure and adolescent relationshipabuse. She actively mentors trainees and junior faculty tobuild the next generation of researchers and advocates. Inrecognition of this work, she received the 2017 Children’sMercy Department of Pediatrics Advocacy AchievementAward and the 2016 Rose Brooks Health Services Award.She has served as Co-Chair of the Children’s MercyCouncil on Violence Prevention and is currently Co-Chairof the hospital’s Intimate Partner Violence Work Groupand Chair of the Department of Pediatrics Gender EquitySub-Committee. Nationally, she serves as Abstract Chairfor the American Academy of Pediatrics Council on InjuryViolence and Poison Prevention and on the planningcommittee for the AAP’s Trauma Informed Pediatric ProviderCourse.Gail Reynoso, Missouri Coalition Against Domestic andSexual ViolenceGail Reynoso has been a Member Services Specialistat the Missouri Coalition Against Domestic and SexualViolence (MCADSV) since 2011. She provides training,guidance and support to domestic/sexual violence andhuman trafficking programs, service providers, survivorsand community members. Before coming to MCADSV,Gail worked for eleven years for two rural domestic andsexual violence programs in Missouri where she providedadvocacy services such as crisis intervention, casemanagement, criminal/civil legal advocacy, immigrationrelief support and medical advocacy to survivors fromunderserved communities. Gail sits on the MissouriSupreme Court Domestic Violence and Human TraffickingSubcommittee and the Victimization Task Force.

Melanie Austin, Metropolitan Organization to CounterSexual Assault (MOCSA)Melanie Austin is the Director of Education at theMetropolitan Organization to Counter Sexual Assault(MOCSA) and holds a Master’s Degree in Public Healthwith an emphasis in Health Promotion and DiseasePrevention and a B.A. in Spanish and Communication. Shehas extensive experience in coordinating public healthprojects and through her work at MOCSA has beeninvolved in preventing sexual violence in the Kansas Citymetropolitan area for the past seven years.Kelsey Saragnese, Metropolitan Organization to CounterSexual Assault (MOCSA)Kelsey Saragnese is a Coordinator of Prevention at theMetropolitan Organization to Counter Sexual Assault(MOCSA) and works primarily with middle and highschool students to change their school’s culture to onewhere everyone is safe, informed, and feels like theybelong. Kelsey graduated from the University of Missouriin 2014 with a B.A. in Women’s and Gender Studies, andis currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Social Work atthe University of Missouri—Kansas City.Dr. Anthony (Tony) Dishman, Synergy Services, Inc.Dr. Anthony (Tony) Dishman is currently the BatterersIntervention Program Director for Synergy Services Inc. Hehas served Synergy Services in that position since 2016.Dr. Dishman’s clinical duties include individual and grouptreatment for abusers and their identified victims and otherfamily members. Dr. Dishman also serves as a therapist forchildren and parents involved in the Missouri Department ofChildren and Social Services. Prior to doing clinician work,Dr. Dishman served for 22 years as a Youth and Familyworker in both Missouri and his home state of Indiana. Tonyis a father of 5 children and enjoys life with his wife of 28years Jeanette.

Dr. Anthony (Tony) Dishman is currently the Batterers Intervention Program Director for Synergy Services Inc. He has served Synergy Services in that position since 2016.
