Judge Porter, Oounty Judge of Hays Oounty, came hefore the Oommission with reference to the maintaining of the highways in Hays Oounty, asking if it were possible to give Hays Oounty contract for maintaining the highways. Owing to the fact that the contract has already heen awarded for a twelve month period from May 1, 1926, this could not he done.
