Air Conditioning R&D CentreThe Haier Air Conditioning R&D Centre is located in Qingdao, China. The centre was completed inDecember 2013 and covers 20,000sqm. The R&D Centre has more than 120 laboratories for testing,key research and all-weather user experience simulation. The R&D centre also has the world’s tallest“drop tower” for testing long refrigerant piping (106 meters tall).In April 2014, Haier established joint laboratories with Highly for research in heating & coolingtechnology and with Mitsubishi Electric for innovative technology for user experience.
