ENTRY INTO FULL-TIME PROGRAMSCandidates applying for full-time status must satisfy the following requirements: Meet the educational and other requirements for entry into the particular programor meet the mature student requirements. Have reached the legal school-leaving age on the date of commencement of the course/ program. Apply online or in writing on the approved application form and submit thenon-refundable application processing fee. Show evidence of physical qualification in accordance with the requirements of theprogram selected, where applicable. In the case of high school students, provide a copy of marks obtained. In the case ofABE students, provide a Record of Achievement or other equivalent official transcript. Provide further documentation or report for an interview/testing when required.WHEN CAN I APPLY?APPLY TOCNA30You can apply at any time. Students currently in high school must be in their final year (Grade 12/LevelIII). Applications can be submitted online, by mail or in person at any one of our 17 campuses. CAN I STILL APPLY?Applicants who do not meet the educational prerequisites for programs with “First Qualified, First Accepted” admissionsprocess may be considered for Mature Student admission on an individual basis provided the following conditions are met:1. must be at least 19 years of age at the time of application and out of school for at least one (1) year.2. present an official transcript of grades for the highest educational level attained.3. complete the standardized assessment instrument at a level approved by the college and attainthe required scores for the program.Specific academic course prerequisite in disciplines such as English, Math, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics,or any others specifically identified for admission cannot be waived via the Mature Student process.Mature student status does not apply to programs with competitive entry admissions process.3233

COLLEGE RESIDENCESOFF-CAMPUS HOUSINGThe college maintains residence facilities at the Bay St.George, Burin and Happy Valley-Goose Bay campuses.Students wishing to apply for residence should contactthe campuses listed below to obtain an applicationform and should apply directly to the residence officeof the appropriate campus.The Student Services office at each campus maintainsa list of boarding and/or apartment accommodationsrelevant to that region.Residence space is limited and, therefore, the collegecannot guarantee a room to everyone who applies.
